Servers in the shop were nonchalant and have bad attitude. Didnt really wanna serve us while we were standing at the cashier and shop had no one.

Overall, the service was good. The cashier who attended to me was very sweet and nice. However, there was one Malay staff wearing a red tudung who showed an unfriendly/black face expression. When I needed help, she did offer assistance but her tone came across as rude. I hope this can be improved as it affected the overall experience

If you’re looking for a fuss-free neighborhood spot for your daily bakes or seasonal treats, DJ Bakery is a reliable staple. Known for its wide variety and value-for-money prices, it’s a go-to for many residents across the island. 🥐 Bread & Cake Choices The sheer volume of choices at DJ Bakery is impressive. Whether you're there for breakfast or a tea-break snack, you’ll find: • Fresh Buns: They are famous for their incredibly soft buns. Local favorites like the Red Bean Bun and Yam Paste Bun are known for their "mad ratio" of filling to bread—perfect for those who find standard bakery buns too doughy. • Signature Items: Don't miss the Parmesan Cheese Bun or their creative Spiderweb buns. Their French Loaves and Rainbow Doughnuts also provide a nice mix of traditional and fun options. • Cakes: From classic Coffee Swiss Rolls to more elaborate designs like their Ramen Go-Go or Mermaid-themed cakes, there’s a variety of cakes available for both daily cravings and special occasions. 🏮 Chinese New Year Goodies (2026 Edition) With the festive season in full swing, DJ Bakery has transformed into a one-stop shop for CNY 2026 snacks. They have a massive selection of traditional goodies that are perfect for hosting or gifting: • Classic Favorites: You’ll find all the essentials, including Pineapple Tarts, Love Letters (including pandan and mini versions), and Kueh Bangkit. • Savory Snacks: Their Fire Samba Rolls (Crispy Prawn Rolls) and Crispy Seaweed snacks are consistent bestsellers for those who prefer a savory crunch over sweets. • Festive Exclusives: Keep an eye out for their Huat Huat Lion Dance mini yule logs or unique seasonal items like Ikan Bilis Peanut Crispy Chips and Indonesia Prawn Sticks. Final Thoughts DJ Bakery wins on variety and accessibility. The prices remain very competitive compared to larger boutique brands, making it easy to stock up on CNY jars without breaking the bank.

Ordered plain waffles, the service was good, I didn't wait very long to receive my order. 👍 The waffles tasted alright, it was thick but soft. For the price, it's acceptable 🧇👌
