We had a delicious lunch there today. We had the Ayam Penyet (classic signature dish) a grilled beef ribs, and two Nasi Campur with rendang (on promo) there's a name for it, but i can't remember it now that I've left the restaurant. The rendang was really tender. The tempeh was delectable. My son said the beef ribs were delicious. But the serving size (3 small ribs) was not as worth it as the chicken nor the rendang rice. My son also ordered the cendol es, with durian. it was delicious.

Finally! An Indonesian spot that actually tastes like home instead of a "polite" imitation. One bite of the Ayam Bakar, Tahu- Tempe goreng and I almost forgot I was in Kardinya; the flavors are so authentic it’s like a portal back to the motherland. The atmosphere is great, the staff are lovely, and the ordering system is so user-friendly that even your tech-phobic Bapak² could handle it. However, there is a minor tragedy occurring: no *saus sambel* or *bawang goreng*! It’s like a hug without the squeeze, my rice feels a little naked and lonely without that crunch. I’m also currently filing a formal protest because this branch doesn't have Nasi Rendang or Martabak on the menu yet 😭. Still, the taste is 10/10, so just bring your own fried shallots in your pocket and you’re golden!

Absolutely blew my mind! The food here is incredibly delicious. I’m a huge fan of Indonesian cuisine because of how rich and complex the flavors are, and this place nailed it perfectly. Every single bite was packed with authentic spices. Highly recommended!

Just had an amazing feed at Ria Ayam Penyet and it definitely hit the spot. The ayam penyet was crispy, juicy, and packed with flavour, especially paired with their sambal—spicy, punchy, and super addictive. The portions are generous and everything tastes authentic, like proper Indonesian street food done right. The tofu and tempeh sides were a nice touch too. Service was quick and friendly, and the place has a chill, casual vibe. Easy go-to spot when you’re craving something hearty and full of flavour. Highly recommend if you’re into Indonesian food or just want to try something different

I am normally not a huge Indonesian food fan but this place was very good. So filling and tasty. We had a show near by so decided to give it a go and happy we did. We will definitely be back if we are in the area again and needing a tasty bite to eat.
