Finally found authentic Indonesian food in Brisbane!🇮🇩 The ayam penyet was crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and the sambal had the perfect kick. The flavors really reminded me of home. The restaurant was clean, the staff were friendly, and the service was quick. Definitely one of the best Indonesian restaurants in Brisbane. Will definitely come back to try more of the menu! ❤️

One of the best Indonesian food in Brisbane! Foods are 100/10, reasonable price, worth every penny. My fave is Iga Penyet with sambal terasi. Its a must visit restaurant in town! 👍🏻✨Waiting time is a bit longer esp during busy hours, so be patient 😁

First time trying Indonesian food and it was so good! The restaurant was very clean. Service was a little slow though😅one meal arrived after the other person had already finished eating. The fried chicken with the chilli sauce was amazing 🌶️🔥 Would definitely come back!

This was my first visit to this restaurant and my first experience trying Indonesian cuisine, and I was thoroughly impressed. As an Australian-born man, trying Indonesian food for the first time was an absolute delight to my taste buds. The food was exceptional, with rich, authentic flavours that were incredibly delicious and memorable. Every dish was beautifully prepared and truly showcased the quality of the cuisine. Our waitress, Siska, was an absolute delight and provided outstanding service, making our dining experience even more enjoyable. The staff were professional, attentive, and welcoming throughout the evening. I will definitely be returning and highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for outstanding food and exceptional service. A fantastic dining experience from start to finish.

Dropped into Ria Ayam Penyet for lunch and ordered two plates: 🍗 Ayam Penyet – $16.50 Crispy fried chicken served with tofu, tempeh, spiced crumbs and sambal terasi. The chicken was fall off the bone, had a crispy exterior while staying juicy inside, and the sambal brought a punchy heat. Tasty and I ended up shredding the chicken and mixing it into the leftover rice from my next dish. 🍛 Nasi Kapau – $20.50 A Padang-style curry rice platter with fried beef ribs (there are other meat options, but I went for the beef ribs), cassava leaves, vegetable gulai curry, egg balado, and chilli on the side. The beef was tender and fatty with a mild spice kick. Really enjoyable, though I wouldn't have minded a few more ribs. Staff were friendly and service was reasonably quick, noting it wasn't busy during my visit. Cutlery and water are also self-served at the front near the counter. Overall, a solid spot if you are after bold Indonesian flavours and do not mind a bit of heat.
