If you have no idea what to have for lunch, wok hey will never disappoint you. Have been frequently purchase their udon for take away from different store, can said they maintain the same standard, yummy. Fresh prawn, chewy udon noodle. Important is the take away still hot and warm after back to office. Price reasonable, packaging is clean and easy to carry and eat anywhere. Not to mention, their chili is good.

On days when I’m too lazy to cook dinner, my husband and I would troop down to Wok Hey and order a fried rice with 2 add-ons to share. And I’d make a simple soup on the side. So far, we’ve tried the egg fried rice, the Shanghai fried rice and the XO fried rice. All with extra prawns (or beef) and vege. The Shanghai fried rice was not nice because we didn’t like the sambal that was used to flavour it. Am not sure if it’s the same sambal they use when you ask for chilli at the side when you order the egg fried rice but regardless, the sambal didn’t do anything to enhance the flavour of the fried rice. The XO fried rice wasn’t too bad but we think the egg fried rice is still the best so far. My husband is quite pleased that he can now get a good “wok hey” fried rice so easily without having to sit down at a zi cha stall or a Chinese restaurant.

I placed a pick up order at around 12:08pm and the initial waiting time stated was 10-20 minutes. I am extremely disappointed having to wait not 40 minutes but close to an hour for the order, despite the initial estimate given as 10-20 minutes. And guess what? There were no updates at all and I don't know where my order is. Furthermore, when I asked the staff to check if my order is ready, he simply brushed it aside and merely told me to wait for the SMS, despite experiencing issues with the SMS notification before with other outlets as no notification was sent despite my order being ready. However, the other outlet's staff bother to check as to whether my order had indeed been prepared. I also noticed that orders on-site were prepared quickly, and customers who arrived way later than my order time received their orders ahead of me. The attached photos clearly show the order time and the revised estimated time to 20-30 minutes. It is absolutely ridiculous to understate your waiting times and make me wait for no reason at all, and to make me pay in advance for something that I will not receive? As much as I understand that it is the lunch crowd, at least state a longer waiting time and do not be overconfident as to the estimated time that your staff is able to prepare the order. Additionally, do teach your team to be more proactive to check the orders, in case there are issues with the SMS notification system. I saw an order which looks like mine, which has been sitting there for some time without anyone collecting it. Yet upon enquiry, I was just merely told to "wait for the SMS." At the time of writing this, I still have yet to receive any SMS notification. Update: Recieved SMS notification, but do you seriously expect me to wait 2.5 hours??? This is such a joke, wok hey, please wake up your idea 😡

There’s no dine-in here, only takeout. Fried rice, fried noodles—everything is cooked to order and packed in a small cardboard box. Just grab it and eat wherever you like. With all sorts of meat combos and different seasonings, the fried rice and fried noodles taste good!

Zero stars. Ordered via mobile when it was est 10 mins waiting. I waited for more than 50 minutes. I went over to check at the 30 minute mark because I noticed bags waiting to be collected and they told me not done yet. After all customers were served and they noticed me still standing there they asked me over and turns out my order had been sitting there the whole time. No apology nothing. So I waited for 40 extra minutes and my food is cold.
