Ordered their packet lunch for our group meal with lime juice. Delivery was on time. Penyet was delicious, shiok chilli and best of all was the chilli and gravy were packed separately. A very satisfying, comfort food for lunch. I feel that the lime juice was a bit too expensive, nevertheless it came with presentable packaging plastic bottle should you host a working lunch. 😊

The signs don't keep up with the rate at which prices are being increased; ate here as I read the stall being recommended. Definitely a solid fried chicken, though freshness of leaves is meh and tofu lacks some flavor. Overall decent meal for the price, but perhaps doesn't live up to its good old days?

My order when I’m there is the chicken wing rice. For just over four dollars, it is very value for money. The chicken wing is flavourful, with a slightly thicker crisp coating than normal. However, this gives it a nice crunch. This dish is served with curry rice. Do request for "nasi lemak" chili as it elevates the flavour profile of the chicken and cuts through the oiliness too.

The price of the food has increased since my last visit last year. The food still ok, not bad. The chilli is spicy and the chicken is fried crispy. Overall, still ok to eat if you are nearby near.

Recommended by family who worked near NUS precinct. Tried both the fried chix drumstick set($5.80) as well as fried pomfret whole fish($7.80). Both still Crispy and flavourful despite eating them after 20mins. Both sets come with white rice drenched w curry sauce(atad thin) and the belacan chilli definitely packed fiery punch spice lovers will love it! Overall a very nice penyet stall that's value for money.
