Wonderful service staff who are able to make recommendations and advise about which food fits the level of spiciness you desire. Excellent food, good portions which will leave you satiated. We ate a bowl of pasta each, and ordered a plate of fried calamari. Be sure to add a bottle of cold water ($2) to go with your sweet drinks.

It's been awhile since I last came to tipo. Glad to realize it's still as good as ever. Enjoyed the chili tomato pasta very much, chewy and unique. The white bait is great as a side and the feta cheese is interestingly done up with a sprinkle of kiwis. Lovely atmosphere to chill though sadly, the coffee machine was down.

Very good pasta and awesome service staff! All the staff were friendly and served with a smile. I ordered Pink Pasta with smoked duck, the pink sauce reminded me of my days in Frankfurt 😄

The pasta there was wonderful. I ordered the presto pesto with smoked salmon while my mom ordered the prawn pasta. The pesto was creamy but not too heavy, the salmon was really smokey and the cherry tomatos were super sweet. This place was very unique. The prawn is extremely fresh and juicy , and was perfectly cooked. They have different pastas there every day and you can custom and make your own pasta. Even though i am not a pasta person, this restaurant was the best pasta restaurant i have tried

Calamari - 3.75 stars Batter is good, somehow tastes like chips (probably the seasoning). Overall the flavoured pastas are a little gimmicky and probably affect the texture, making it soggier and not al dente. Reasonable prices and portions but not the best pasta. Crab pasta - 3.5 stars Not a fan of tomato cream sauces. Good amount of crab. Fennel and olive pasta - 3.75 stars Good flavour from the capers and fennel.

I came here with high expectations and hopes and they were blown out of the water with how delicious everything was! The melon salad was unbelievably good, I’ve never been so impressed with a salad before and I wish I knew exactly how to make it so I could attempt to each it every single day. The pasta was also fantastic, I had the fancy fennel with the yuzu pasta and loved it! The place is cute, staff were very nice, food and drinks were served so fast, and most importantly the food was phenomenal! I hope to be able to come back here someday and try more of what’s on the menu! :)

Nice interior design, good food but to me - the crab pasta was just okay. I’ll say the truffle pasta is the best, seafood pasta is okay, tomato sauce is not my favorite to go with seafood. Curry flavor aglow olio was okay. $7 for watermelon soda is a bit too expensive, but the gathering is super good!

The food was amazing and the atmosphere was divine, but what really made our experience amazing was the fact that our waiter took very good care of us, from helping us quicken our order process by offering recommendations (which were delicious!) to taking care of us every step of the way. Thank you very much! The carbonara is lovely, with the rich egg yolk and the punchy smoked duck. Despite being a heavy dish, it felt quite light as an eating experience. The red pepper sauce is a punch of flavour that's enhanced by the crumbly feta, and the smoked chicken is juicy and the perfect accompaniment. The royal ragu needs very little explanation - strips of braised beef along with a solid and flavourful tomato sauce, and the options to add extra spice make the dish even better! Definitely will go again!

Had dinner here and had a wonderful Carbonara with duck! The pasta was all done in-house and had the blue pea special which went really well! Great Calamari with giant squid rings and just the right amount of batter! Definitely coming again but will need to find parking early!

Had a company team lunch with my colleagues. Service was great. Waiter and waitresses were friendly and well versed in their pastas. Am no Italian cuisine expert but I'd say it's one of the better pastas I've tried. Words can't describe much but I will definitely be coming back in this couple of weeks. Recommended!

If you visited their previous store, you will definitely love this new space!!!! So spacious and nicely decorated The pastas are still as good as before!!! 10/10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Service was good and they still provide a little candle for my friend's BD cake. Plus ample parking nearby! Easier for driver like me! Will come more often!

Walked in, saw many empty tables, but were told to return in half an hour, and that they would call us earlier if there were tables available. We returned earlier without receiving any call and saw empty tables. By then, many items that we wanted to order were already sold out. Luckily what we ordered tasted good.

Interesting concept, presenting you different physical raw pasta options in a nice display together with the menu. Staff are all friendly and attentive. Went on deepavali PH, Mon at 12pm. It was a busy day but the staff gave their best service. Food is great. Cold brew tea is nice, we registered an account and redeemed 2 cups of nice cold brew tea 😊

Walked in here last minute and was put on waiting which we didn't mind. Really good fresh pasta, they were also very pretty! They were delicious, flavour profile is more towards fusion. Nice interior and service was fast. However, calamari (not in the photo) didn't wow us.

great pasta place! loved the flavours and the introductory pasta selection platter, showing all their different types of pasta. i love the range of sauces and the ability to customise your own pasta. their special cold brew tea was a great palette cleanser while you eat, and for dessert, tiramisu! not too sweet, just right. staff and service was top notch, will definitely come back again for sure!

Reservation is required and the restaurant was quite noisy. Staff was nice to explain the types of pasta available. We can either create our own pasta by choosing the pasta, sauce, and toppings or choose from the menu and select the type of pasta we want. The portion was quite big and filling.

I love Tipo Pasta Bar so much! My favourite pasta place and I have been back multiple times (more than 10 or even 20). The best is to build your own pasta! The pink sauce is delectable. I will always add on the truffle paste and sous vide egg. The service is efficient and the ambience is lovely. Interesting concept where you can also choose your type of pasta presented on a display. Recommended eating place to hang out with friends / for celebrations. Price range is higher especially if you are adding on a lot when building your pasta. But it is worth it.

We tried the chili crab pasta, the red pepper sauce one, the seafood one and the gorgonzola one - the gorgonzola was the best by far in my opinion! And we added a sous vide egg to it for a bit more protein. The chili crab pasta and the melon salad were super spicy, I could not eat them. The ice tea and soda drinks are quite sweet. Recommend booking in advance.

Delicious pastas! Many choices and could even build your own! The Royal Ragu was my favourite, and the portion was good too. Service was great, staff were friendly and food was served relatively quick. Be sure to make reservations before going!

The food was amazing! I liked how we get to choose our pasta from whats available and they are all unique! Price wise is pretty expensive but the portion is too little. I suggest to just top up for extra pasta as it was not filling for me. Would come back once in awhile I guess...

I found the ambience nice and the service quite good. We had a choice of three pastas - the cayenne pepper one was way too spicy; I appreciated the other two, although we couldn’t really taste their flavours as they were outplayed by the pasta sauces. We ordered four dishes in total, and thought that the chicken alfredo was the nicest.

Remember to do booking before coming! Great atmosphere, delicious food. Very impressed with their handmade pasta! However, slight disappointment with their service. Walked in and saw the restaurant half occupied, thinking that there were seats available. But the Indian male server turned us down right away, stating that they're fully booked. I asked if we could wait awhile for the seats if guests don't turn up, he replied NO, all fully booked. So I was curious, went online to do a booking for a slot in 15 minutes time. Then went back in, another female server attended to me and just asked me for my booking and name pleasantly. And followed with a polite invitation with my seat. Then, the Indian server kept asking how did I get my booking. Pretty rude and unprofessional.

Tipo has consistently maintained good standards with their food. High quality ingredients with a price tag to match. However, on the day we went, they ran out of longer pasta types. As such, we could only settle for either one of the two pasta types (pictured below). I opted for the pesto pasta with rigatoni. The pesto was pleasant, but the smoked salmon was pretty underwhelming. There was a single piece that had multiple small bones which really caught me off-guard. The carbonara was pretty fire (it is a safe choice) but would be more aptly paired with a longer pasta like linguine or mafalde. Overall, a pretty good experience.

Decent pasta for the price. But the gentlemen serving our table on Monday afternoon was extremely unhelpful , refusing to provide me some hot water as I just gave birth a week ago and can not drink cold water or cold tea. Very disappointed with their attitude towards customers
