The place was a vibe! Absolutely loved the interior design. It is definitely on the pricier side, but perfect for a large group celebration with friends and colleagues. Ordered their caviar pizza and mushroom pizza and it was great! It was cooked to perfection. The mushroom ragout was creamy and rich as well. Ordered 2 pizzas and a pasta for Sharing across 5 people and it was okay.

Oyster cream pasta and the lamb pizza were weird - some ingredients really shouldn’t be used together. The rest were average except for the prawn delight pizza which was the nicest dish among the rest. 7/10 for the pizza. Overall food quality and taste: 5.5/10 Service: 8/10

Pizza is really nice and the flavours are rather unique. The pasta are handmade and it has a nicer bite than what you have normally. However, the flavour can be stronger so that the dish has the whole package. Pretty crowded even on a weekday night so do make reservation beforehand

Booked this place for my company iftar dinner. Wish we hadnt. All but one if the sharing platters were sold out. Only had Barramundi left so we ordered that. After 90 minutes of waiting for that, they still needed 30 minutes to cook it. We cancelled. They were out if the cheeseboard & gazpacho. We took two of the last three pieces of lasagne. And The last calamari. It seemed this place was completely out of food. The lasagne was crazy bland. The beef spaghetti was over salted. The pizza was good though. The calamari was good. We got one refill of water at the end of our 2 hour meal then suddenly every 5-7 minutes after that. Decor here is great. The singular server was trying his best. Just seemed like between 1 guy working and lots of food unavailable there was some breakdown in management ordering & scheduling. Seemed like everybody in my party was completely disappointed with having chosen this restaurant.

Think food was quite mid when you compare to the pasta bar The uni gnocchi didn’t really have any uni taste, sauce was very sweet and the citrus and pumpkin flavours were much stronger than the uni. Calamari was overbattered and hard to eat as a result, they also gave very little aioli and we had to ask for more and the server seemed a little annoyed about it Pizzas were not bad (pesto and jose), but it tastes more like flatbread with toppings and overall the flavours could be better (just felt like there was something missing) Water is also chargeable here at $2 a bottle which is something to note, otherwise drinks are quite pricey Overall atmosphere of restaurant is nice and well decorated, but would prefer to stick to their pasta bar

Very chill and lovely environment. Servers were friendly and courteous, nice vibes. We ordered 2 dishes, water and a tea. amounted to about $100. The lamb shank was really salty. Felt extremely thirsty even while eating the dish. The dish lacked flavour. Wished that the mint flavours was incorporated in the sauce rather than random raw mint leaves given which makes it feel like an afterthought. Must give credits to the beautiful plating though. And the texture of the lamb was really tender and succulent. Soft bits of carrots, crisp snap peas, crunchy walnuts and sweet raisins gave an interesting play of textures to the dish. Salmon was tender with flaky flesh. Saffron sauce tasted mild and creamy and had bright citrus flavours from the fennel and orange.

I was in 2 minds whether to review this place, but only because I wanted this place to stay quiet and quaint . One of the better pizza places in Singapore. Perfect crust sprinkled with garlic/parsley (there are other choices like smoked paprika). Leopard spotting on the bottom shows you it is baked to perfection as well. If you know your pizza, you can surely appreciate the craft that has gone into their pizzas. We ordered beef Ragu pasta as well, and it didn't disappoint either. 5 stars all the way for the food quality!

We had a wonderful time at Tipo Pizzeria! Hosted by Don and his team, we enjoyed the attentive service and conversations. Always on their feet and looking out for the customers. Food was fantastic, we loved the No way Jose pizza and royal caviar. Portions was great and shareable. Beef Ragu wasn’t overpowering and just nice for sharing or one person. We also had the truffle fries and the truffles was just nice with mushroom truffle sauce. Will definitely recommend for group settings here! ☺️

Wonderful lunch at Tipo. Quiet afternoon, we had a few dishes for sharing. My favorite would be the custom pizza. The crust is baked nicely with a charred fragrant. Love the flavor. However, quite a number if toppings were not available for us to try. The pasta is cooked al dente, risotto balls were nicely fried. I felt that the taste of everything is on the lighter side. Nonetheless, we had a great meal. Recommend to try the pizza. I would like to suggest to clean the restaurant thoroughly, the floor just beside us has left over sticky food lying around.

I would rate this place for its super chill nice and relaxing atmosphere. Its more like a posh cafe then a restaurant to be honest with its glamorous gold utensils. Now for the food review my favourite is probably the Alfredo prawn. It's juciy, cheesy and ohhh the bite into the main slices without the crust just fabulous. The truffle fries and their truffle sauce is also another standout dish. The rest of the food is probably above average. For the price well its not wallet friendly so do check their menu before going. Walk in seem easy even on weekends but you can always reserve.

Definitely a place you want to fix a reservation before visiting. Friend and I were lucky as we were earlier than the bulk of crowd and though the staff (took quite some time to discuss if they would like to open up a table to us) was nice enough to open a table to us, we were warned that the reservation for the table would happen an hour and a half later at 7pm. Duly noted. Menu was small but items were interesting. And we were satisfied when the plates came. Pizza slices were heavenly when they were piping hot. Arancini was another that we’ve picked, and Boy, it was tasty. Never regretted that order and would gladly have one more serving if my stomach could accommodate for that.

Food was great and definitely worth another visit to try more dishes. The complimentary bread and the arancini are great. Manpower could have been better during weekend peak hours as the servers, while pleasant, definitely seemed stretched and had difficulty preparing even cutlery adequately/timely. The darker atmosphere is not for everyone and is more enjoyable on less crowded hours.

Nice cozy place to have meal, the truffle fries aand calamari are well made. The pizza are nice, but the beef one is the best among all. The prawn a bit sweet, probably the cheese. The wings is not so so, herbs taste too strong & not memorable. It might nicer if wings not so thick, but this is maybe stuffed wings- have room to improve for wings. Need better chilli to go along with all of the food. Next time should try the pasta

Chilled place but food is pretty average. Flavour of the pizzas was lackluster, calamari and phat wings were like 60% batter. Truffle fries and beef ragu were the only decent dishes for me

Nice place and it’s hidden in the arts building located at Waterloo Street. The decor is nice and artsy however the lighting on l from the ceiling shone to the table is too bright to dine on. The pizza is nice but not perfect due to the edges over charred that gives a bitter taste, can’t taste the cheese enough. The pizza i think they should improve more on. Other food items we ordered are all ok. Cook on point, good taste. Their truffle fries is highly recommended! For their dessert, the quantity is impressive and very generous servings, well done here. Affordable pricing and place to dine in. Staffs service are above average. Recommended place to go.

Discovered the lunch set menu today and it’s a good deal. Tipo’s pasta always comes out texturally perfect. Was served by Angel who catered to our needs especially when we had a pram with us. Was really hospitable and made us felt comfortable. Thank you Angel ☺️
