My first visit to Ela was wonderful, and we were warmly welcomed by Mr Akhill. We came to try the Greek food and ordered from the set lunch menu: a Greek rice bowl with baked prawns, a Greek rice bowl with baked seabass, and Tzatziki on the side. Both the prawns and seabass were very fresh and perfectly baked. The ambience was light, quiet, and relaxed, a great place for conversation. We also tried the Greek tea, which was very refreshing. Ela gets busy at lunch, so I’d recommend making a reservation. We were lucky Mr Akhill found us a quiet table even without one. You can’t miss the place: it’s painted in colorful murals, and the entrance is just on the side.

Food was okay. Service lacklustre. Quite uninterested in their customers, not just us. Atmosphere none. Too expensive. Two pax $130++, just food and 1 drink, no dessert. Felt reviews misled us. Not worth trying. Maybe lunch is a better deal.

We had a wonderful experience at this Greek-style restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious, especially the gyros, which were very flavorful and well prepared, with fresh ingredients and great seasoning. The place itself is very nice, with a cozy atmosphere and thoughtful decor that makes you feel comfortable as soon as you walk in. Everything was impeccably clean, which we really appreciated. The service was good, and the overall atmosphere made it a great place to enjoy a meal. Definitely a very positive experience that we would recommend and would happily return to.

Came to Ela at Jalan Sultan Bugis for a friend’s birthday dinner and it was also our first time there. We ordered a variety of dishes like beef kofta, chicken gyro, shakshuka, kotopuolo, seabreeze platter, medi pasta, and calamari. all were delicious. What stood out most was the service. Akhill went above and beyond all night, from explaining dishes and adjusting lighting for photos to even going out to buy ice cream when dessert was unavailable. The chef even made fresh chilli sauce from scratch for us. Very thoughtful and personal service, rare to experience. Definitely coming back and highly recommended

Food was great! Portions not too big. Nice ambience! Akil was very helpful to recommend us the bestsellers and served us a complimentary plate of fried calamari which is much appreciated. The fries were really good. Pita bread fresh! Sauces all tasty!
