Overall decent pasta. Not the biggest fan of the pink sauce accompanied with heavy tasting cheese. The chicken pesto was nice, the chicken had the perfect texture. BUT, the truffle tramezzini was crazy good though, a definite must-try! Staff were really friendly too.

Chanced upon this place while searching for an alternative place in the area. Unique concept as all the pastas are hand made. Upon entering the place, the servers presented us with the daily selection 🍝 for us to choose. We ordered the following : - Prawn in Pink - Prawn Aglio Both were decent and flavourful. Would definitely return again if I’m looking for a relatively affordable place for some good quality pastas!

My first time at Tipo Strada. Unlike Tipo, this outlet offers a fixed menu (no build-your-own option). I really love Tipo’s creamy pesto sauce and am glad it tastes the same across all the outlets. Sadly, the pink sauce my friend had was less consistent. It was definitely less creamy than what we used to have. Their serving is really generous and we left feeling satisfied :)

Cozy little corner restaurant with warm yet classy vibes. The pastas were solid at the price point - just the right flavor profile, and warm yet firm. In my friend's words - al dente! Meat servings were generous as well. The choice of pasta base was interesting as well, with three colors representing three flavor profiles, though I felt they didn't make too much of a taste difference. Recommended for the typical weekday lunch crowd!

The handmade pasta was good. Sauces were flavourful. Shrimp wasn’t too cooked, duck was done just right. It was a pity some of the snacks were sold out. Wish they have more than 3 snacks on their menu too. They also have dried pasta hanging around, quite a decor added to the interior!

They open at 10 am, but we got there at 11 am and loved the chill vibes - perfect for a lazy weekend brunch. The menu has red, white, and pink sauces to choose from, and about 90% of the menu is pasta (so there is no salad or steak for you to order). It's great for all the pasta lovers out there 🍝 The quality and taste were on point, and the prices were reasonable. We also tried their desserts, which were delish 😋 Only downside was the service - the employees weren't very friendly 😒 PS: They have a small branch at Chinatown Point's basement, in case you want to order fresh pasta to-go 🚴‍♂️

I enjoyed my meal at Tipo Strava. The menu is not as comprehensive as Tipo Pasta Bar, and does not provide the choice to build your own pasta. It is probably intended to meet the needs of the eat-&-go office workers. The pasta is infused with different flavours and made in-house. The three options available during my visit were fusilli (yuzu), mafalde (chilli tomato) & radiatori (matcha). In general, they taste really good as they retain the sauce and is quite chewy. The portion sizes were quite generous. The service was good as the team was attentive despite the busy crowd.

Interesting concept of choosing type of pasta, and the pasta quite nice as well. Good also we can customize adding different things. Menu limited for snacks but tye bacon sandwhich kind of snack is nice. Bruschetta is not well made, too simple. What need to be improved.. service. A bit chaotic, like bringing 1 small plate, we end up get own small plate . Too fast clearing plates while have some of people eating their meals. Service can be improved a lot, to give more calmer and relax cafe. Not rush and chaotic, too eager , too fast to do everything.

Tipo Strada, I ADOREEE your Truffle Tramezzini!!! Generous portion of tender beef bacon (not gamey at all), mozzarella and truffle aioli, on PERFECTLY toasted and adequately BUTTERED brioche, omg the brioche is SOOO out-of-the-world crispy!!! Every mouthful literally bursts delightful crunch, juxtaposed against the rich melty cheese and smooth creamy aioli, and their complementing flavours!!! All I can say is, it's mmm-MMMM delicious! Definitely my favorite of the night! For those who like pasta, please don't miss this place too! Not only do we get to choose the ingredients we want, we get to choose the flavour of the pasta too! And Tipo Strada's really keeping me enticed with their changing flavours! Smart. Had the smoked salmon with curry pasta (can really taste it! But it's not overpowering) with pink sauce, and chicken with tomato and parsley pasta (this is less subtle in taste) in pesto sauce. I would say their pasta are all NOT overcooked, but not the most al dente, though definitely firm on bite. Think the main wow factor is their sauces. Pink sauce is just the right blend of cream and tomato sauce, such that it's harmoniously sweet, tangy and creamy at the same time. I'm not a fan of tomato but I really enjoyed this. My preferred one though is their pesto sauce, rich, smooth and basilly nutty! Delicious! Ingredients are generous and also fresh. Cold brew tea comes with delightful notes of rosemary, definitely help cut the cloying effects of all the carbs and creamy sauces at the very end, hahah! I'll definitely be back for more of their different pastas and sauces (eg. Garlic cream!).

We had higher expectations for the price point. Tried the truffle tramezini after seeing all the reviews and it was very oily and meat was not tender. Pasta also tasted average, nothing mind blowing. Recommend the curry flavoured pasta & rose duck. Not sure what was the point of booking the occasion under celebrations if no attention was paid to it.

My second visit to this outlet and I really love how different outlets have different menus. Also, the variety of pasta choices is always a delightful surprise. I had the chicken pesto today and was happy I added chilli flakes because it added a kick to it. It was a really filling plate of pasta. I’m giving it 4/5 because my friend thought the bolognese was a bit creamy.

Firstly I think my review is going to be one of the very few low star reviews for this place, but I know that I will not be stepping foot in this place again ever. Don’t get me wrong, service is great, please read my elaboration below! 1. I have came on a weekend afternoon (Sunday) at around 1pm with no reservation. The wonderful staff still managed to sit us down despite having limited seats within 5mins. They informed us that the ac was spoilt, so it would be a little hot, however I think due to the lack of ventilation or ac, the whole place was reeking of garlic. Really smelled like a zichar stall at a hawker centre. But this is forgivable since their ac was down, perhaps it’s not like that when their ac is working. 2. A lady (perhaps in her 30s) served us and introduced the menu and pastas. Understandably it was hot and a busy day so her service was definitely not top notch. Afterwards we had to order, and our food arrived within 15 mins. 3. This is the bad part. The food was SO SALTY, like someone tipped half a bottle of salt into the food. And me and my partner were wondering why, we were looking around if other people had the same reaction, but no, there were even some people scraping the sauce of their plates to slurp up. So I think it would be the issue with my two plates??? Anyways it was so salty I didn’t finish my pasta. The matcha latte was just sweet as well, no bitterness to it. Okay but anyways I had their $25 voucher and ended up only paying $16 in the end, but if you gave me another chance to go back, I wouldn’t even pay $1 for these pastas… Thanks to the younger female staff though! She was really friendly and nice! ☺️👍🏻

Had lunch on a weekend afternoon and the restaurant was pretty peaceful. The pesto chicken pasta was really good! Love that they have different handmade pasta types that are placed in front of you to choose from. The Tipo staff were also friendly and attentive, which made for an enjoyable experience!

I had their spicy chicken with spicy pasta and it was soooo good! I loved that I could order on phone from the table and food was so good. The only negative is that the tea was quite expensive for being full of ice.

Good, but apparently, certain pasta sauces contain chipotle (?) so it might appear to be spicy for intolerant people. Tried the pear salad as the other side wasn't available. It was not bad. Order the set that came with a drink, and the atmosphere was good. Thanks for the good meal! There's also a coworking space above, for anyone who is interested. Also, good use of rounded utensils to add on to the restaurant mood

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Tipo Strada, and I can’t stop raving about it! This restaurant offers a modern twist on traditional pasta dishes, and let me tell you, the flavors are out of this world. The truffle tramezzini as an appetizer was an absolute delight – bursting with flavor and perfectly complemented by the cozy yet stylish interior. As for the main course, the duck carbonara was a standout dish, made even better by the option to choose your own pasta beforehand. Beyond the food, the atmosphere of the restaurant is enchanting. Located in a vibrant and artsy Keong Saik area, the perfect spot to indulge in delicious food while soaking in the local culture. Needless to say, I’ll definitely be back for more culinary adventures at Tipo Strada!

I think this is an adequately decent place to have pasta. The creamy crab pasta I had was a tad too salty hence deducting a star. Service and atmosphere was okay. Prices are reasonable, considering how high prices are now for comparable restaurants.

Great pasta choices. I would say a very good pasta menu. Can’t say the same for flavour-wise. Just normal tasting pasta; nothing that stood out. I do give a point for presentation though. Prawns were definitely not fresh. Really hard to peel out from the skin. And if u read some of the reviews below, they have a knack of serving prawns that’s not fresh. Also in previous reviews, iced water is being served. But we have to buy a bottle of still water. Why the discrepancy? Staff are okay; would have been better if they smile and have a little more energy. Could be the fasting period; so that’s understandable. Appreciate them saying thank you as we left.

The pasta here was great and the service was good. They have a rotating menu of pastas to choose from and the spicy one was really good. There are a few vegetarian pasta options too.

love their portions!! i thought the pasta could've been a bit more al dente, but at least it wasn't overcooked. ambience was nice, great for a casual date or catch up with friends! the servers were friendly albeit a little flustered (like when he left the display pasta on our table), but it was still a very pleasant experience overall
