Food is awesome. Delicious and every dish that we had is rich in taste. The drinks too, not too sweet and not too diluted. The cakes are soft and the fillings are generous. The service is tip to the top, constantly asking if the food is good, making sure we had enough and the food are to our liking. Atmosphere is quiet and cosy. Rating will be 10/10 really.

I was looking for a Halal restaurant and gave The Malayan Council a try. The building is hard to find and once you park, the restaurant is also hidden. But once we walk in, it’s a pleasant surprise and the decor is actually quite nice! The food is pretty good and portions are large (which is not typical in Singapore). Most of the dishes we ordered were tasty and we were given complimentary appetizers and even desserts! Prices are definitely high relative to other restaurants serving the same food.

Five stars for ambience and portion size! The Malayan Council at Windstedt is all about the vibes, an atmosphere so nice you’ll definitely enjoy chilling there. Food portion was HUGE, it was our first time there and we definitely ate our fill, have two mains along with drinks and a complimentary side! Service was good, food tasted good and we even got complimentary cakes to bring home. Price point definitely worth a mention, this place is good for occasions as it’s on the high side. Definitely fitting for occasions! :)

Love the ambience and beautiful decor. The food was delicious and comes in big portion. Was given complimentary chicken wings and cake. Waiters and waitresses were attentive and quick to assist. This is truly Malayan Council best outlet. My wife and I left the restaurant truly satisfied. Highly recommended!!

There for a reunion visit of our secondary school premises. Service was not the most efficient as we were served a satay platter instead of a satay pizza as we had ordered. The ambience was relaxing and food was good. Although it wasn’t a busy night, staff did not really pay much attention to us. Would still come back again.

It was such a lovely experience celebrating my early birthday at the restaurant. Especially the service staff named Freda was very welcoming and really treated me and my friend so well! The food was really great too, however it can be on the pricey side. All-in-all it is an ideal place to bring your loved ones for a special occasion or for a treat to impress someone.

TMC never fails to impress! First experience at this branch, food is consistently good, service is great as always. This establishment never fails to go above and beyond. During our visit, it was for a birthday celebration, the manager offered free appetizer and a couple slices of cakes to bring home on top of what we ordered, which is always an appreciated gesture. And the killer of the day is always gonna be the smoked duck lemak chili padi pasta!

Nice ambience and it was quite quiet when we went on the evening of National Day (9.8.23). As always, the food portion was super generous that we could not finish them. We received complimentary serving of chicken winglets and 2 slices of cakes for takeaway. Not our 1st visit to Malayan Council Winstedt Rd nor other outlets, their service has been consistently good.

Nothing beats this chain of restaurants when it comes to quality and portion. With hearty portions of halal food done perfectly (I would argue even better than some non-halal alternatives), it is easy to see why this place is a go to for many malay families. The pastas we had were very filling and delicious, and each main is more than enough to feed 2 pax I feel. I genuinely enjoyed the food so much that I would come back for more. Moreover, the wait staff are always so kind to bring over complimentary dishes- like a coconut cake after dinner and a free fried salmon appetiser. I think that the only thing they can work on is to staff the restaurant more as they are understaffed and working so crazily hard for customers. Good job team!

Once again, very impressed with the quality of food at Malayan council. we had the lontong goreng with Kobe beef and truffle mushroom soup. The portions are very generous and we almost always have to takeaway the leftovers. Service staff are very friendly and great in customer service. Overall, had a very pleasant lunch here! Will be back again!

Definitely our go to place to celebrate special occasions. Food is always amazing and portions are super generous. We were also spoiled with complimentary dishes and were given complimentary cakes to takeaway as well! Special mention to staff Shazuan at Winstedt for his impeccable excellent service. His attention to detail is exceptional and attended to all our needs promptly. He exudes passion for customer service and is a exemplary role model for the service industry.

It was our first time here in this outlet. I was truly amazed with Mimi. He makes us feel homely with his cheerful disposition. His kind of customer service is at the verge of extinction in f&b industry nowadays. The dishes are excellent especially those dishes that I have selected. I'm not a fan of sweet dessert however for those who have sweet tooth. Please go ahead and try their cakes especially the ondeh ondeh cake. GOOD JOB MIMI, IM IMPRESSED. KEEP IT UP!

Fantastic restaurant, not my first visit and I can't say enough good things about it! The food was absolutely delicious, with a wide variety of options to choose from. What truly set this place apart, though, was the exceptional hospitality. The staff (Junaidi, Mimi, etc) was incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. They went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was perfect. I highly recommend this restaurant for its delectable food and warm, welcoming atmosphere. A truly memorable dining experience!

I have recently dine-in at the Esplanade outlet (23/12/23) and I am very impress with the service as well as the food. I didn’t expect to receive a complimentary cake on top of the complimentary anniversary cake as well as a $20 voucher to be used for my next purchase. I’d like to personally compliment and thank the staffs at the Esplanade outlet for being very friendly and professional! Do extend my thanks to the staffs at Esplanade for making my anniversary lunch a spectacular one.

We dined here around 8.30pm and the atmosphere is perfect for a private family dine in. Food portions are super generous, would recommend that 1 non-kid meal is enough for 2-3 people. Also very delicious. Given complimentary chicken wings and multiple cake slices (and more when we mentioned that we had 2 birthdays this month). The staffs are super friendly and attentive. Would dine here again with friends~

Dined at Winstedt TMC for a quiet little family dinner in conjunction with our wedding anniversary on a Wednesday evening. Not a fan of crowd so it was a great experience. Nice food with generous serving. Calm ambience. Staff are friendly and very attentive. In fact we were spoilt and celebrated with on-the-house starter, two slices of cakes and in-house sparkling apple juice. Plenty of parking space within the vicinity so no need to worry about parking. Nice place to hang out with friends too. Highly recommended.

Went to the winstedt branch on 12.12 for my anniversary dinner and had a pleasant time. We were given complimentary chicken wings and 2 cakes on top of our delicious pasta and satay orders which definitely made our day. Recommended for anyone spending their special occasions ❤️

Dining here was a great experience. Even as it becomes more bustling later in the evening, you can still relax with drinks after your meal for conversations with your dining companions. The food was generous in its proportions. The modern/fusion takes on some classics like Gado Gado is pleasantly surprising. Service was prompt, friendly but not overbearing.

We came for a staff lunch and we were so satisfied with everything! The service was excellent, especially MiMi who was so funny and accommodating. The portions were good for 2-3 for 1 dish. Good to come with more people to try the different dish. The dishes are fusion western + Malay food. Really interesting flavours. They gave us complimentary: Chicken wings, birthday cake, and towards the end they gave each one of us a slice of cake 😍

My husband and I had a fantastic experience at The Malayan Council celebrating our 4th anniversary. The service was exceptional, which is rare to find in Singapore, and the food was delicious with generous portions, making it great value for money. The restaurant also caters to events and large group celebrations.

Exceptional service. Kudos to the entire staff to make us feel welcome during our time here. Food was really good with big portions too! Came here to Celebrate a birthday and received complementary cakes! We came pretty early for lunch too so they gave us complementary Malayan wings while we waited for our food. Definitely will come here again :))

We were here to celebrate 2 special occasions here. We enjoyed our time together and food here. Had the squid ink pasta, love it. The cakes were delicious too. The crews were amazing.
