my family has patronised this stall for better part of two decades. always good, pepper crab doesn't disappoint. [2023-04-01, $50] Black pepper crab was fantastic, easily won in a head to head with Stall 31. The black pepper sauce itself is made with whole peppercorn and is a lot more flavourful. The crab itself was nice, but not quite as meltingly soft as 31. Overall still the clear winner.

Tasteless food. Disappointing salted fish fried rice. Surprised, theres carrot and mushrooms and no taste. The sambal for sting ray is not nice. Service is good as usual. At Newtown all of them want your business.

Dishonest hawker who charge more than listed on the price list. Crab of all flavours was listed $40/45, asked what is the exact priced and was quoted $45. Was charged $48 when dish arrived.

First time ordered from this Stall recommend by frds. Paid $90 for 2 crabs to fill our stomach and it’s so juicy and fresh. Will order regularly in future.

Had dinner in friend's hse..do amazed to learn that the crabs they ordered is so cheap-$45/per crab...and so succulent and flesh.

This is the 2nd time I ordered the pepper n chilli crabs...still so succulent and fleshy and its alot cheaper than other places.
