Came here to celebrate my birthday! The food was scrumptious and super hearty. The service was really great too! Not only did I get a birthday cake, but I got a birthday song too. It’s definitely a sweet place to celebrate special occasions! 🥳

Excellent service. Best ambience. View is amazing. Staffs are friendly and welcoming. Attended to us immediately when we made couple of request. Best buffet restaurant we've been to by far. Even our son mentioned this place seems like its for vvip customers.

Excellent service by Aziz the General Manager and his team. Food was nice. You get to enjoy all the different type of delicacies that they offer in most of their other outlets.

I went for the Sunday lunch buffet at the Fullerton Boathouse. Lengthy review but in summary: - Some signage would be good for patrons getting dropped off - Don’t come in expecting great seafood or sushi or sashimi esp for lunch: TMC is more known for their fusion foods and the dessert cakes. - Reasonable service and nice location and ambience Location: I and another party were looking for the place as we were dropped off at the roundabout. My friend also had trouble finding the place You have to go around the building and down to the river level. However it is a nice location overlooking the river and I enjoyed the ambience and decor. Not the most accessible place I feel, I wouldn’t know where to park if o were driving. Nearest station requires a bit of a walk. Service: Only opens door at 11 am. Person didn’t inform abt the availability of sashimi etc that can be ordered via using QR code scanning system Generally good w refilling water etc and polite Food: I enjoyed their stews: the oxtail, short ribs and lamb tagline: meat were generally tender and soft and flavourful. Sushi very dry n hard rice. Seafood only had prawns: very fresh though. Delicious. Sashimi order via qrcode scanning system. We ordered 2 servings: not much tbh. But it didn’t look that fresh, edible but kinda gray in colour. If u don’t order, u are not missing much. Mushroom soup was delicious. They have their iconic layered cake in flavours such as durian. Putu Piring. Ondeh2. I didn’t try the donuts. The soft serve was okay, u can add fruits and syrup of ur choice. Not a must return kinda place.

Love this place. Buffet specialty. Dine here to celebrate your anniversaries, birthdays, and other events. Love the desserts. Staff are very friendly and meet your needs. Will come back here again. You can also visit their outlet at Esplanade.

One of the best Halal buffet in Singapore with good service..delicious food and wonderful atmosphere. With warm and welcoming service and located just beside the iconic Fullerton Hotel something you will like to experience even once in the whole life. However it’s on the pricey side so do take notes about the price.

An underwhelming dining experience at The Malayan Council’s buffet concept restaurant. The food was mediocre at best, though certain dishes like the oysters and satay stood out as slightly better options on offer.

Like to compliment the ladies that I liaise with, in booking for our Parent Support Group Staff Retreat on 28th Oct 2023. One of them is Dee, Event Sales Manager and the other, who handle the watsapp. They're very passionate and helpful. Making my reservation, payment processing went smoothly. The ambience and food was great. Food is mixture of sweet, spiciness, fresh seafood, sushi and desserts. We're served with nice champagne as well! It's conveniently located new to Merlion. Thank you Malayan Council for the wonderful services!

We came to have dinner without any reservation on friday night. Arrived at 8pm and to the table straight away. Ordered ala carte menu - singapore laksa & signature waghyu burger & fries with truffel oil. Foods were great, waiting time not too long, environment very lively & staff are very welcoming.. staff name Amalina was really amazing.

Super inconvenient to get here. Food was off. Super not worthy. No parking. Whatever stayed at the buffet menu was not true, super limited food. First and last here. $150 for 2 pax? With super limited food range. Staff is unfriendly, especially the manager. His attitude are so unprofessional. We don’t feel welcome at all.

Remie & Nas were very helpful and kind to our needsI recently visited the Malayan Council buffet and I was very pleased with the variety of dishes they offered. The food was very fresh and flavorful, and the prices were reasonable. The staff (Remiw & Nas) was friendly and attentive. I highly recommend this buffet for anyone looking for a delicious, affordable meal.

Attended this restaurant for a company Christmas dinner! While the food fell into the realm of averageness, I had anticipated a higher quality given the price. On a brighter note, one staff member, Ms. Freda, added an entertaining touch to the evening. A big thanks to her for infusing the night with sass and showcasing an truly amazing personality!

Not recommend. Not worth the price, there is many better buffet out there with this price range. The seafood is not really fresh. The selection is also very little. The only food consider better is the QR order item, satay and beef. With additional $10++ you can go carousel for a more varieties buffet if you require halal buffet. In the buffet menu stated alot of thing but in the end majority wasn't avaliable,eg. Sashimi. The seating was also very cramp, hard to get the food. The food replenishing is very slow can see alot of empty tray. Even the utensils also run-out, we use tea cup to take the ice cream, cause no more ice cream bowls/ normal bowls. In term of service, the staffs are consider friendly but the plate clearing is very slow in the end we clear ourselves and pass to the waiter. Overall if want to try, can try taking the hi-tea buffet as what they are famous for is the dessert, in terms of food is lower than average. Indeed their desserts is consider one of the better one out in the buffet.

Celebrated my dad’s birthday here and the service was impeccable. With very caring and attentive servers who sang for all those who celebrated their birthdays that day. Food is also tasteful with good portion size. Great place to celebrate special occasions!

Had a great time at Malayan Council in Fullerton! We were both really excited to have found a new halal dining spot in the CBD. We gave their dinner buffet a try, and Shaffik, one of their staff made sure that their food and service was in good order. Awesome vibes, tasty food - totally recommend checking it out!

Sub-par buffet, for the price point there’s better buffets out there. Not many variety of dishes available for each cuisine and some of it doesn’t taste amazing. Sashimi and sushi bar also below the standards of other buffet. Good location though. Service could be better as well.

Our birthday dinner at The Malayan Council was characterized by average cuisine and pricing, featuring beef Wellington, fish and chips, and mee goreng. While the dishes met expectations, it was Shaffik's outstanding service that truly defined our experience. He went above and beyond to ensure our celebration, particularly my mom's surprise, was memorable. Despite the food being satisfactory, Shaffik's exceptional care and attention made our visit unforgettable. For stellar service and a personalized touch, The Malayan Council stands out.

4 of us. 2 adults, 2 yr old using baby chair and 1 child aged 11 years old. We had the dinner buffet. Staff members were helpful and friendly. Seem they do provide a personal touch and show interest and delight in serving the customers. Ambience is nice and comfortable. Fully air conditioned. Quite good space to move around (but then again, it is not too crowded when we visited). Food taste good but I feel variety could be expanded. Personally the highlight on the buffet is the seafood like oysters, lobsters (topup could be a bit slow). There is sushi. Have satay and their signature cakes as well.

Enjoyed the malaya food and friendly crew services. Good impression w lobsters and cereal tiger prawns & satay, sadly not their salted egg flower crab. Hope the team will work on the texture, taste, sauce 😅 They have good vibes and great atmosphere. Will return again with Muslim friends.

The staff is incredibly excellent in the restaurant. My family and I were served by Shaffik, Amazina, and a few more. They are incredibly helpful and very very friendly. We had the lunch buffet and the food was simply incredible. The prawn especially was delectable and juicy, something not easily achieved. The sushi was also really well done which pairs with the wasabi. The Chicken Rice was nicely seasoned with the flavors very nice coming through. The lemon butter dory fish was also incredible, with the sauce light and frothy. The coffee was simple, yet aromatic. The provided pastry was also very fluffy, light, sweet and flaky. The sambal belacan was very savory and well made. The Sparkling grape juice paired incredibly well with the food, and served to us plentifully. The goreng pisang was nicely fried, and the soft serve was a nice way to end the meal. As far as halal-friendly options go, it is very very worth the cost As for the service, it is top notch. With table setting making my family feel welcomed, and the staff attending to small details. The back of house staff were also very friendly, and were still very professional and friendly as they helped us with our food. The front of house was attentive and friendly, and very very well done Will definitely come back the next time, this is a very worth restaurant to relax and have a good meal with your family

The buffet spread was amazing! Service from the staff namely Shaffik and Remie were awesome. They specially had some finger food cooked for my kids when I wasn’t sure if any of the buffet food would be to my kids liking. That was really top notch service by them! Also, they kept checking if everything was well with us. I ate so much till I was stuffed because the variety was amazing! Would love to go back and It was a lovely night there and I would highly recommend it to everyone 😄
