It was a rather disappointing experience, especially when the purpose was to enjoy a good Indonesia cuisine. It was far from it! The food (not authentic Indonesian) was precooked and displayed in a counter (like school canteen). When asked if they can make hot the dishes, they simply put into the microwave oven! Service was nothing to shout about. Dishes were expensive too. Truly disappointing.

Happened to pass by and decided to dabao the Beef Rendang Set for lunch. At only $9.90, it is great value for money and it comes with 2 sides and a drink! The beef is Deliciously Moist and tender which I Just Can't Get Enough of! Additionally the service staff are friendly and polite. Will definitely pop by again!!

BIG LETDOWN!!!!! We stumbled upon this restaurant while passing by, enticed by its Google reviews. Upon arrival at approximately 6:50 pm, we found the restaurant to be empty with limited food options.(cannot blame cause it was already evening) The dishes, which had been kept warm for an extended period, appeared dry, but we decided to order nonetheless, driven by hunger. Our meals were being heated up in the microwave. Our meals consisted of basic combinations: rice, chicken, paru, and taugay and another set , rice , chicken, egg, and vegetable, accompanied by two drinks. 1 teh tarik and 1 teh peng.we were charged $32 for 2 meals and 2 drinks - Geylang prices without the vibe! 😱 (The bill, settled by my partner while I was in the washroom) I came back to the table and asked my partner how much was it. And he told me $32!! At this point I had to ask for the receipt. Because I doubt our meal would’ve cost THAT MUCH. Worst part? We got overcharged. I already felt something was off because immediately right after I asked for the receipt, the lady that was serving us seemed abit hesitant or maybe annoyed. Took her quite awhile to give us the receipt btw. Receipt showed $24, but they charged $32. I was already getting so pissed off because this is so dishonest. When I pointed it out, the staff gave me a weird look like I was the one doing something wrong 🤯. No apologies, just awkwardness. She even double counted it and confidently said $24 . Then why did u charge us $32? Won't be back. DO NOT RECOMMEND. Food was mid, service was worse. 🤮

The ayam lemak chilli padi was salty. The boiled egg with chilli was so hard that i believe if i threw it at my windscreen i may need a new one. The kueh lapis was hard and devoid of moisture and texture. The best thing i bought from here was the bottle of Teh Sosro !!! I will stick to the likes of Hajjah Maimunah and Muslim Delights going forward.
