1stly i was left standing at counter for a good 3-4 mins. I came at off peak approx 130pm after and no crowd. Finally informed i can just go in and sit down to order. ok sure. Went for the 300g ''Premium'' Ribeye cut and it was very disappointing. Huge mistake of mine. Dry and totally not nice. Any steaks at coffeeshop will thrash this piece. Mind you i paid $35 so i had a little expectations. the steak was a complete disasters and just totally bad. Check out the pict. *** Note _ I didnt even dare to leave it longer incase it became even more dry and hard. the min it was served to me, i quickly took out after 2 bites and seeing HOW DRY and tasteless this is Just OMG piece of .....dont know if it should even be called Ribeye. Pretty bad lunch based on today and waste of my tummy space for sure.

Tried the lunch set at Steak 99 and was pleasantly surprised by the value. For $11.90++ (about $14 after taxes and service charge), the lunch set comes with a steak, rice, soup, salad, and a drink. Considering the price, it’s hard to complain. The steak was cooked well and served on a hot plate, while the rice, soup, and salad made it a satisfying meal. The food is decent rather than exceptional, but for what you’re paying, it offers great value. It’s an affordable option if you’re craving steak without spending too much. The restaurant also proved to be quite popular. I arrived shortly after opening, and it filled up quickly during lunch, so it’s worth coming a little earlier if you want to avoid the crowd. Overall, it’s a solid choice for a budget-friendly steak lunch. Good value, reasonable portions, and a complete set meal at an affordable price. I’ll definitely be back again whenever I’m in the area.

Steak 99 proves that a good steak doesn't have to come with a hefty price tag. The steak was surprisingly tender and satisfying, easily holding its own against places that charge much more. What stood out was how quickly everything moved—from ordering to getting the food on the table, the service was smooth and efficient without feeling rushed. I also appreciate that it's halal, making it an easy choice when dining with friends and family from different backgrounds. Good food, fair prices, and a fuss-free experience—sometimes that's exactly what you're looking for.

Got the 300g ribeye and sirloin. Honestly couldnt tell the difference between sirloin and ribeye, and arguably the sirloin was easier to cut. The hotplate is really hot, so recommend to take the meat off so that you can control your doneness, cause it remained hot throughout the meal. The tables are a little compact and close to each other, making it a lil squeezy but otherwise okay for a quick meal. Don’t imagine dining too long as the hotplate makes you want to eat quicker! But will definitely return as it was value for money. $60 for 2 x 300g steaks with free flow rice, salad and soup. Sauces were a bonus but tasted good with salt.

Food is nice and very affordable price. Just only from $9.90 you can get a steak of 150g and free flow of rice, soup and cabbage. 👍👍👍 Ambience is cosy and staff is friendly. Great place if you like beef steak.
