Ordered the set meal for 4-5 pax but we were dining in 6. It was a filling and affordable meal for a restaurant standard. Delicious food with lots of choice to choose from within the set! Special shout-out to the chicken as I love how it is marinated. The cereal prawn is deshelled so that’s a bonus. I g do if got to take photo of the sea bass but it was good too! Would come again

Local Chinese restaurant. Their signature dish is their fish head curry which is decent. I tried their fried noodles and rice with chicken/beef today for the first time. The meat given was very less. Beef is hard and chewy. I do not recommend to order any of the noodle/rice. Fish slices with ginger has about 16 thin fish slices for the small portion at 12 sgd? I only recommend their prawn paste chicken. Fried well with tender meat.

Pleasantly surprised by this place, and was glad I stepped in. It’s a halal Chinese zi cha restaurant. Service was friendly and food was served briskly. Ordered the seafood fried rice, har cheong kai and stir fried chye sim. Generally, the food was light on salt, which was good. The fried rice had the wok hey fragrance and a generous helping of liow including fish cake, prawns, sotong and fish fillet. The prawn paste chicken was especially delicious - juicy and crispy chicken wings with just the right hint of prawn paste without being too overpowering. And the stir fried chye sim was fresh and crispy with just the right amount of garlic. Overall, a good meal and highly recommended for these 3 items.

Returned to Segar after a long absent. Ordered a curry fish head, like always. I was a little disappointed. While the curry was tasty and creamy. The fish was dried and tough. So it was Curry + Fish Head, meaning curry waa curry, fish was fish. There was no holy matrimony between these two. 😂🤣. Price is reasonable. But it was a noisy place to dine in during lunch. Oh yes... This restaurant is Halah certified.

Just happened to bump in to this corner restaurant located at Chinatown Point on 6/6/2022 at 1340hrs. The staff's were fast and service was poor due to inattentive staff. But then came along a staff name is Carol who attended to me despite of the busy and rush hour. She is able to accomodate me and take my orders profesionally. Service is slow but food was not that great too. Carol is attentive, fast and efficient.

Came for a Saturday late lunch. Place is deep in the bowels (Basement 2) of Chinatown Point. Ordered both the Crispy Egg Noodles with Chicken and Beef Fried Kway Teow. Order is done through the convenience of QR code. Aunty came over to confirm the order with order slip. As with the other visits to this branch, the dishes came very fast, almost like a fast food order. The Crispy Egg Noodles with Chicken were indeed crispy (we were perhaps lucky as there are reviews which indicated otherwise). Gravy was not saltish and had a good though not outstanding flavor. Came with a generous amount of Cai Xin vegetables. Chicken was tender and had no gamey taste. The Beef Fried Kway Teow was full of wok hei flavor, fluffy and not bland. The beef was also tender and tendon free. This is one dish to try if unsure what to order.

Quality of ingredients was clearly lacking. Fish head curry was pretty spicy and decent tasting, but the amount of meat on it leaves much to be desired, literally hungry still after sharing between 2. Fish was overcooked and kind of dry. Flesh was not succulent or sweet in the way fresh fish would. Had the spinach dish as well but could tell the centrury egg was bad quality and rubbery. Place was very quiet with little customer on a Friday night, patrons are mostly elderly folks. Service was decent.

Have Beef Fried Kway Teow and Fresh Soupsop Drink. The beef is surprisingly tender. Online order and payment which is very convenient. Overall good experience.

Didn’t take picture because was too hungry. Ordered curry fish head, sooo good. Will visit again and take picture. Prefer to eat fish head curry here with aircon 😜 Follow up review: the more i eat, the more i feel that it tastes better than another famous curry fish head. Never tried other dishes because i come only for 1 dish!😏 Further review: finally tried other dishes for birthday celebration! All dishes are good!

Ordered the value set: - Oyster with egg was good - Sambal kang kong was good - Cereal prawn was ok, cereal was good - Extra ordered hotplate tofu which was not bad too. - Finally curry fish head, abit disappointed as the taste wasn't as good as our last few visits. The curry gravy was more bland than before. Overall, it was still good for us. Value for money too.

Homely spot. Nice halal place to hangout with my Malay pal in the midst of nots when we happen to be in the area. Service was from a crew of senior ladies who were pretty friendly and gladly shared their views from questions we asked. And perhaps appetites have shrunken, the spread of two mains and two sides had us filled to the brim. Food wasn’t the most flavourful that you know they scream msg and artificial flavourings in it, but was nice. Just nice. Wouldn’t mind to be here again if I happen to be area the area.

Good set meal for 4-5 persons worth $118+ after GST. Comes with curry fish head. Dishes are average but for the price, good for sharing. Fuss free meal. Dishes comes out after about 10mins of ordering via the QR code. Efficient. Came for late lunch and there were plenty of tables available. Halal. Located at b2 of Chinatown Point.

Had their fish head curry. Most other fish head curry goes for the creamy version but this is cooked with the original tangy fish curry style. Highly recommend.

For both the quality & quantity, it's not worth paying $70+ for their food here Fishhead was not fresh and curry tasted diluted & awful, Fu Rong egg was paper thin, sweet & sour chicken and the french bean was so miserably little And the service from the manager was at best unprofessional The place was warm & humid. Total write off

Good idea for Chinese halal food! Food was okay but not impressive. I had the Singapore fried beehoon, my colleagues had fried horfun and chicken fried rice. Taste was decent but dishes lacked wokhey. Price wise is good though, really affordable
