We loved the Nasi Lemak Ayam Taliwang. Chicken was tender & juicy. Loved the spicy sambal taste. Portion is good for the amount charged. 2 x Nasi Lemak Ayam Taliwang for S$15.60

Price is reasonable at Orchard food court rate. However food quality is not that outstanding as to garner a Michelin star. Tried their signature Taliwang Ayam Nasi Lemak, in the end, it merely tasted like any other ordinary chicken nasi lemak. Was hoping it could match the KL Airport Nasi Lemak, but still it couldn't. The nasi already tasted very different. Counter service had been polite and efficient. 🍚🍗🥚🥥

Traditional coconut milk rice with Indonesian spicy chicken and sambal sauce. Definitely a delicious, more flavourful alternative to regular nasi lemak. The chicken is not dry and their signature 'Taliwang' sauce is fragrant and spicy. (Still Sweet like regular nasi lemak sambal) The rice is decently 'lemak' , but not particularly fragrant. Slightly pricey, but its expected from a Michelin star hawker. Overall tasty and satisfying nasi lemak, definitely worth a try.

Not bad for their nasi lemak. Portion is okay but pricing is slightly on the higher side. The nasi lemak ayam taliwang set that i ordered taste good. Their chilli is great but still not spicy enough for me. The chicken is delicious. Do give it a try if you are there.

The Nasi lemak was packed hot. Chicken wing tasted good. Chilli is good. Cost $11.26 for two packs takeaway.

Hands down the best Nasi Lemak I’ve had along Orchard Road. Twice now, I’ve had the Nasi Lemak Ayam Sambal Colo Colo set. The chicken portion is generous as well as the fried peanuts and anchovies. Freshly made coconut rice, cucumber slices, fried egg, and of course the Sambal chili. Quite the steal for S$7.80, considering this is at Orchard Road. This place could be my go-to for local rice meals when at Plaza Singapura.

Was in the area and decided to give it a try, been hearing so much about it. Placed my order, and the young lady was really lovely and informed me that it would take some time to cook the chicken. I sat for 15 minutes waiting for my buzzer to light up, I noticed that other people behind me had already gotten their food. Went back to the counter and they realised that my docket was thrown out thinking the food was served. Thank god they had an extra portion of chicken, I didn’t have to wait any longer. The food is tasty, and the rice was nicely cooked but only wish the flavour and fragrance could be stronger as their chilli flavour is heavier on the palate. Overall I will be back for sure to try other dishes and hopefully, I won’t have to go through the same thing again. I may update my review again.

We went to buy one Filet Set and one Nasi Lemak Ayam Balada at this place. The staff were friendly to the other customers. Most of the foods were already pre-prepared. Only had to wait for one meal. The meals had great presentation. The eggs were perfect and the pandan leaves made the dishes more appealing. Filet Set: Amazing, picked chicken filet (there was a choice of fish or chicken fillet). Filet had this interesting fragrant that I couldn't describe, it's unique. I really liked the potato as it's delicious and flavourful. Nasi Lemak Ayam Balada: Really spicy and tasty. Meal was satisfying. Overall, both dishes were fantastic and we enjoyed it. The sambal chili, peanuts and ikan bilis were classic and hits home like always. This is probably the best nasi lemak we had ever had! Would return again. Recommend to those who enjoys local delicacies like nasi lemak, but with a bit of speciality in it.

First time trying it as recommended by my hubby who liked it on his 1st try last week. Tried the signature & was yummy! Everything was perfect. The chicken tender , the chilli shiok & the rice fragrant. Plus the lady server is kind , friendly & generous with the chilli when I asked for more. Will go back to try their crispy chicken as heard it is nice too! Keep up the good food & the smiles!

Great food and great service, I have some digestion issues regarding cabbage and Glenda was sweet enough to ask to add more prawns to the dish and their tea drink was also really good. I would definitely come back 💖 I took the photo after starting to eat so the dish might look a bit messy 🤭

Food: The taste was enjoyable, showcasing commendable flavors and quality. However, there were notable areas needing improvement in service and communication. …(Edit) after a few mins of eating: under cooked chicken.. it is pink and the fork could not pass through… staff replaced the dish for me. Service and Communication: 1. Cashier Interaction: Encountered difficulties while paying with the FairPrice app. The cashier's approach, repeating “one last try,” so many times, and blaming me that I touched the screen which stoped the transaction added unnecessary stress and pressure to the transaction. 2. Food Plating and Communication: Initially recommended the award-winning spicy dish by the food plating staff, I requested the chili to be served on the side. Unfortunately, this instruction was not followed and the staff said I didn’t give the instruction when I did a few mins ago, it lead to confusion and a disappointing service experience. Overall Experience: Under cooked chicken is a big no… The pre-meal service challenges significantly impacted my dining experience too. While the food's taste was satisfactory, the issues with staff communication and order accuracy created an unwelcoming atmosphere. Improvements in these areas could greatly enhance the overall dining experience.

Now, now… hear me out… before you get all attracted by the red, neon signs of another Michelin labeled brand in Plaza Sing Kopitiam (Hawker Chan being the other located just opposite this stall) please thread this stall with caution. I believe my bad review has to do with the peak timing and their staff not being able to cope with the crowd, but after seeing other customers waiting in line all with unhappy faces, I just need to to voice out. Bad, slow service - I waited 35 mins and I had to go back to the shop to remind the staff and still wait. Sadly, the Ayam Taliwang was overbooked and dry at the sides. Certainly, not the Michelin label they deserve!

The branch I visited is located in Plaza Singapura, in the food court on level 6. Here’s what I ordered: Nasi Lemak Ayam Taliwang $7.8 - 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 I saw this restaurant in Netflix and found their love story really cute. Indeed, this dish is like if Malaysia and Indonesia had a baby 😭 I was really excited to try this, and it did not disappoint. The meal tasted so SAURRR GOOD!!! I really luv their sambal. Everything was perfect - you get carbs, protein, fiber, and fat, making it a very well balanced meal on one plate.

Pretty delicious! The meat and rice was generous and the chilli was super sedap!!! Chicken felt a little over cooked and hard to my liking, but decent nasi lemak ayam.

We have often been disappointed by "Michelin star" F&B offerings, and when I first saw this store I had my reservations... which proved to be unfounded as the rice was soft, fragrant and cooked perfectly, the chicken was tender, juicy and well grilled and marinated, the chilli was sweet, appetizing and spicy. Even the kacang was not disappointing. Definitely a solid recommendation.

Ordered Indomie Ayam Kremes (a kind of fried chicken fillet). Indomie was good, chicken serving size was generous, but i would prefer the meat to be less dry and coating to be crispier with more crispy bits topping (kremes) which was absent. The place is in the Plaza Singapura food court. I think their shopfront design is nice. The staff were very friendly.

We went to this food on our last day in Singapore 2 weeks ago. Need to try this one after they showed up on Netflix, and I impress with the story of the couple behind this brand, mix of Indonesian-Malay food. We tried several food, the nasi lemak ayam taliwang was ok. In my opinion, ayam taliwang should be grilled in spicy marination, and served with plecing, the balance was ok, but mostly to the Nasi lemak version, not quite ayam taliwang version or in the middle. The chicken was good actually, we ordered more! Hahahaha The otah was ok as well, nothing special. Overall, the concept is in there, but not quite really in the middle of mix Indonesian-Malay food.
