National Day crowd is expected, but what’s happening at KFC Potong Pasir is honestly quite disappointing. Everyone knows people will be ordering in advance and flooding the outlet, yet there doesn’t seem to be any clear crowd management strategy in place. The dining area is packed, customers are waiting around with no proper system, and orders are taking way too long. I placed my order through the KFC app at 4:40pm, and honestly, at 6pm, if I didn’t go up and inform the counter staff myself, my order would likely have been skipped while they continued preparing orders for customers who came later. What’s worse — there’s only ONE front counter staff handling everything. The Indian lady at the counter is trying her best, but it’s clearly overwhelming for one person to manage orders, questions, and crowd control at the same time. This is not a staff issue — this is a management issue. On a peak day like National Day, where’s the planning? Where’s the manpower? Customers are frustrated, staff are stretched, and the whole experience just feels chaotic. Do better, seriously.

Bruh, online order put 15 mins, 1 hour already still haven’t cook finish. The live still put “less busy than usual” want to fry how long? This will be my last time ordering from Potong Pasir. Guys please don’t order from here if you’re hungry, will lead to hangry sia really… 🤦🏼♂️

Impressed with Indian female service crew who patiently served me and recommended hidden menu item to match my preference. Sprite tasted authentic, steak fries made the grade, and tender burger with sesame bun was good. Pretty straight forward process flow and cleaner dining area compared to last visit in September 2025.

The counter staff auntie, Mdm Heidi is always very courteous and friendly. She often makes me feel welcome and at home in this KFC outlet. She maintained her friendly, motherly demeanour even though I went back twice to her - once to get ketchup, and the second time for a few more paper serviettes cos I had accidentally squirted said ketchup onto my arm 😅 Love the human touch!
