I'm a frequent patron of K&T but this shall be my 1st & last visit here. Paid for my drink & I thought service was great when cashier asked me to take a seat 1st. BUT after at least 5 customers after me got their drinks and I'm still plain seated waiting blankly, I asked if my drink will be ready...I was greeted by a death stare from Mel who couldn't be bothered, continued to finish a "bigger" order who is already at the counter waiting, and then unwillingly made my drink. Its OK lah, I would have refunded my drink there and then if I could. This is not customer service. No word of reassurance, and my beverage made with a black face. Will my kopi still be nice?

11 June, Sunday around 10.15am. First time buying from kopi and tarts and it definitely left a sour impression on me. It was all okay until the cashier told us to move to the left, multiple times with an annoyed tone and very black face. We would’ve liked to, if only there wasn’t another customer who was standing on our left and blatantly did not want to move. Mind you, there was an occupied table placed so far in front near the counter, so there’s limited space to even squeeze to the left side of the man who just did not want to move. The most laughable thing is that even though we moved, with the male customer who just did not want to move, the cashier’s annoyed tone was clearly and repeatedly directed at us. Perhaps was it because we were wearing sch shirt? Honestly, it’s nauseating to be treated less of a customer although we are paying customers like everyone else. Is it because we are deemed not “adults”? Anyways, the cashier continued to make me even more appalled as the time went by. The customer after us was a regular customer, evident from the way the cashier asked him “The usual?” And wow, I saw her SMILE! And surprise surprise, my friend and I ordered earlier than him (we ordered individually) but I saw his order getting prepared and fulfilled before the both of ours. Wow. Just wow.

Waited for so long for my cup even those came after me gotten their orders. When approached & asked the staff, the rude staff gave a death stare instead. Upset & disappointed with her attitude, left the place without touching the cup. Not returning for sure

Came for afternoon tea on a Thursday at about 4pm. Cafe was not crowded. Ordered a cup of tea with a Chicken Pie for $4.50. Not impress with the pie at all. The flaky pastry tasted strongly of flavouring instead of the sweet aroma of butter. The chicken pie filling was too sweet. Definitely would not return nor recommend.

Always nice to come here for easy going coffee and tart. There are 10 tables inside and 3 outside that was not full at 3pm Sunday. Caution is to not sit below aircon. Water dripping.

The male staff has very bad attitude. He raised his voice at customers when there was some misunderstanding over the order. Throughout the whole process, he presented a rude manner towards the customer.

Very terrible attitude with uncouth personality. There is no one to clear the table and the servers expect the customers to clear their table before they can be seated. I mean how can you expect us to clear the plates of the previous customer?? Besides they are not helpful at all. I am planning to escalate it to their management of kopi and tarts as I am really disappointed and dissatisfied with their attitude and service. You can refer to the picture to one of the most unfriendly staff i have ever met IN MY LIFE! Just look at her face and you do not even have the mood and appetite to eat!

Idk why people review this badly. I always note how friendly and polite the staff is. There was one time I was sitting outdoors, an aunty came out to ask me if I want to sit inside as she was worried it might be hot.

Always ordered their kaya toast n half boiled eggs. The kaya toast abit dry but their half boiled eggs are cooked to perfection. They hv verieties of puff pastries which are good too.

The fact that there are a lot of breakfast cafe in Singapore, this is probably one of the underated cafe in Singapore. The tarts are delicious, the coffee is delicious. Overall you guys shoul try this cafe 👍

Firstly I must say this my first time have posted a review but I felt compelled to warn others about this cafe experience I have ever had. The ladies staff in the morning extremely terrible rude there was no service in fact.(request to clean the table for us so we can sit but she refuse and ask us to wait as she busy with other stuff.just wondering is it customer need to clean their own table before we be seated?)just simply doesn’t care about service.it honestly felt uncomfortable asking her for anything as she seemed to hassled(e.g the coffee diluted and she told me is “tilo”) hope this ladies will get much training for the customer service
