Still the best halal sushi restaurant to go to after all these years. Its the consistency in food quality. And oh! So in love with the mentaiko! Forever attentive and friendly staff. Hei Sushi at its Pasir Ris outlet never let us down. All thumbs up! Thank you to the good service and good food.

I ordered tempura Moriawase with Japanese rice at the Woodlands outlet and enjoyed it. However, the male service staff (looks like Filipino) came across as unfriendly and rude to me. He seemed to be in a haste to clear my table and process payment. No smile and eye contact also, which are usually important in customer service. Given this experience, I don't think I will patronise the woodlands outlet again, at least for now.

First time going - quite disappointed. During the meal, the waitress(es) almost always had their backs to the customers so there's no use of 👋 if we needed anything. When they do see us, they are nice, polite, and prompt. We didn't order/took a lot because of these things: - We ordered fried fish skin (portion rather big) and they were soggy af. - The mentaiko sushi from the sushi lane - there were 6 of them on the plate - stuck to each other, and when I finally was able to separate them, the rice stuck to the plate (=.="). - In the middle of the dining in, there were some smoke (?) from grilling (?) and it suddenly choked a lot of people in the restaurant.. took us a few minutes and coughs to get over it. - Pretty sure I saw a lot of "fast" sushi like the jellyfish, wakame, inari sushi, but not so much of an actual sashimi on top of the normal sushi rice itself. I did see one unagi sushi though. The curry, ebi tempura, breaded scallop, gyoza was normal, thankfully.

The quantity and quality is a big question. The size salmon sushi roll getting small and smaller. Little bigger than 0.20 cent for S$7.5

The worst sushi place ever. Should be a 0 star if possible. Dirty environment especially the plastic caps on the conveyor belt that’s covering the sushi. So gross. Service is extremely poor and slow. Not much crowd, and waited for more than 30min for the salmon to arrive.

went here for a halal conveyor belt sushi dinner, the individual special plates were pricey … however it was a family meal so I’ll let that slide would recommend the unagi sushi !! and matcha parfait for dessert

There was only 1 lady running everything. Her name is Haini. It was full house and she keep her calm and do everything with smile and polite. Hei sushi should give her bonus and promote her pls. Thank you Haini for the great service!

Went on a Saturday afternoon and they were pretty empty. Felt service could have been better (seems like they were understaffed). Most favourite were the salmon sashimi and the mushroom dish (forgot what it is called). The later tasted so surprisingly good! Would definitely recommend if you have never tried that dish before. On a last note, find them pricey compared to other sushi places.

Haven't been here in a long time, serious shrinkflation going on. Portions are way smaller than what the menu shows and pre covid period. End up it's pretty expensive if there's no promo. Plus point for the Muslims is that this place is halal certified . Another plus point is that it's not crowded so it's a good place to have a conversation. You can scan the QR code to order anything you don't see on the conveyor belt. Red plates are the most expensive at almost $8. Black plates are nearly $5 and coloured plates are almost $3 each.

Weekday after lunch, practically empty. Scan QR code on table to order. Dishes alright, small slightly small, not enough for sharing unless order many many plates. Service almost non existent. Overall just alright.

I wouldn't recommend getting delivery. Ordered at 5:24pm and received it at 8:10pm. Order was directed to pasir ris. I stayed central. Call in outlet can't get through. Had to find ways to call and chat in FB. Outlet finally called after 1 hour plus. Said driver was stuck due to rain. After close to 3hrs I finally received order. Ramen was cold and TBH the experience was really bad. During the call the staff or Manager did not apologised until the second time that I wanted to look for the Manager. Anyway I hope this bad review will reach the management for them to look into the matter better.

The worst restaurant I’ve been to!! Waited 45 mins for nabemono and a Christmas cupcake that was just in the fridge of cupcakes! I asked the waitress one time and she just asked me to wait some more. I was fed up and decided to walk up to pay the bill, only then they told me it’s going to be served. I’m sure it doesn’t take long to prepare raw beef slices, a hotpot and a cupcake. Utterly lousy service!

avoid at all cost. under staffed. sent in order at 19:29, only ready by 20;22. total wait time 53 minutes. broke the other review's record. dun think they prepare according to order queue because half the restaurant settled bill n left. not sure why that platter can take so long to prepare. started asking them at 30 mins mark, kept.saying soon. at 45 mins mark asked.to cancel order they told me wait. and still have to pay 10% service charge.

We ordered takeaway this evening, and the salmon sushi smelt so foul, I didn't dare to eat it. The tuna also looked like it had been there all day. We definitely won't be ordering food there in the again. The restaurant was empty and rightly so.

Interesting sushi restaurant where nearly all orders are brought by a robot. Sushi is rather extravagant with not many common options on conveyer belt. Edamame is cold, sushi also not prepared with wasabi (though you can add your own). Charged us a dollar per (cheap) wet towel that are free on virtually all sushi restaurants.
