The food is really tasty, and the portion is good. The prices are reasonable, and the beef bowls are relatively affordable. I love the teriyaki salmon bowl. The salmon is so tender, with a lot of sauce. You have a lot of choices to choose from. Food is also served fast. Do expect a queue on weekends, unless you go before 12pm. It has a separate area for self-ordering to take out. There is also a line during peak hours.

Spring Onion with Half Boiled Egg Gyudon 🍜 Food wise: Well marinated, chewy and flavourful meat, along with its juices that coat the sticky, soft and sweet rice. Add the half boiled egg, mix in with the rice after eating half of the rice, best of both worlds! Shiok ah! Today, the spring onion is not that strong in taste, was fragrant the first time I ate it. No matter, still good overall! Another serving please! ✨ Ambience wise: Japanese style restaurant, clean and neat! 🤵🏻 Service wise: Very prompt and helpful. Asked for wasabi (Trying my luck), but they don't have, so she offered chilli flakes instead, and ooo it is a good topping to the bowl! 💵 Price wise: This is the XL, $10.80 with Beef: 200% of M size Rice: 125% of M size

There is always a long queue especially during peak hours. Great value for money and the menu has a lot more variety than Yoshinoya. You can try the small sized beef rice (Gyudon) for just $4.20 if you're on a budget. It even comes with a free glass of warm drink. It's nice! For dining in, ordering is done via the website by scanning the QR code. For take away, you can order through the kiosks.

Cheap and good. Exactly like Japan’s. The new egg plant side is good. My usual is XM (more meat with less rice), spring onions , soft boil egg x2. To have a nice and hearty meal

Cant get enuff of this newly halal ceritified restaurant. There is always a queue to enter. Why? Because the food is good. Good variety. Limited specials available. Fast food concept, hence ppl eat and leave. No hogging of seats. Seasoned well, not to mention delicious! Choose the size of your meal. Comes in veg/karaage set if you like. You need to wait to be seated. Scan QR to Order and payment. Seamless. Food delivered within 5 mins! For takeaways, order your meal from the ordering kiosks. Will definitely eat again.

Tasty gyudon with several toppings and portion sizes that cater to many preferences. The gyudon is soft and flavourful just like the one in Japan, while yakiniku part tends to be a bit more salty. Come early during lunch time as it could get really crowd. There’s a free flow barley tea too.

We’ve discovered and tried Sukiya a couple of months back. And I’m so glad that we did. Let’s start with the food of course. Their food is delicious. Not too salty, not too bland. Always freshly cooked when served. The beef gyudon (personal favorite) is both savory and soft. Yakiniku beef is also a must try! Portion - the portion in here is generous. Not like the others. The XL can actually feed 2 watching-their-diet people. And they dont just increase the rice, no, they also increase the beef! Price - 5 stars! Very very affordable and reasonably priced compared to other gyudon “fast food” chains. Top that with the very good quality and generous quantity. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 The place is very clean. Music is not too loud. And they have a very nice hand washing station! Im talking about generous water, good soap, and paper towel to dry your hands with! A very positive meal experience every time indeed! Would be even more perfect if they got a toilet. Because i bet it would also be clean. 😁

Value for money Japanese rice bowl meals. The prices listed are inclusive of GST and there's no service charge. What you see is what you pay. Easy to scan the QR code and order the food and pay easily with the phone. Service is quick, typical of Japanese precision. The restaurant is quite spacious, convenient to bring your toddler there, high chair are provided. Complimentary light tea are also served.

Ordered the SPRING ONION & HALF BOILED EGG GYUDON with fried garlic. Topped up $2 to complete it as a meal that came with veg and drink. Total bill was $9.50 for this set. Good value and I enjoyed the meal. Order by scanning QR code and payment online. Food is served at to the table, no need collection. Generous portion of Kang king that is boiled with a little bit of salad dressing. Light and fresh. It is a good portion of beef that every mouth of rice I manage to have a beef in it. The spring onion is the right amount as well so that it doesn’t overpower the beef and sauce but compliments with its fragrance. I just thought that it might be better for the soft boiled egg is cracked on top of the bowl. Maybe not enough space and risk it spilling over. The fried garlic is lovely addition.

This outlet is a bit secluded. It is located at Square2 the extension of Novena Square. These are the original gyudon chain restaurants from Japan. It has standards! Just order directly via the machine and paid using a debit or credit card. Then collect the beef bowl from the counter. There are plenty of seats available in this restaurant. It is also cheap. The smallest bowl only costs $4.20. I feel satisfied. It reminds me of those beef bowls I have ever had in Japan. . There are other menus including side dishes. There are also limited time promotions of selected dishes.

Went with hubs last weekend and I had the teriyaki salmon bowl with a side of veg and upgraded to clam miso soup. Hubs had the spicy charcoal grilled yakitori bowl with a side of veg. For me mine was really yummy. The salmon was incredibly tender, just that the beef was a tad bit fatty. The clam miso soup was super tasty and good. Only downside was the veg which felt way too old and chewy with lots of stems. Hubs didn’t like his dish though he felt that there was more rice than meat and felt like a giant rice bowl. Overall, I will still go back but will stay away from his dish.

Was super excited to try after having the awesome ones in Japan. Ordered the Gyudon with Spring Onion XL. Plenty of rice and wish there was more meat on top though. Taste-wise, it was decent but not at the level of Sukiya from Japan. The marinade tasted a little different and meat portion was definitely lesser. Meat portion needs to be increased especially when you upsize!!

Good business but still have to have some courtesy when you feel 'busy' The family before me didn't want to queue and left. So I thought lucky me as no one before me in queue. A friendly waitress signal me to come in for a seat. After making my way in I found there is no seat. Another waitress is quite angry/frustrated and told/shouted at me to go outside and wait. I tried to explain another person asked me to come in. Luckily the more friendly waitress said her asked me to come in and apologize that there is no seat. Less than 1 minute she got me a seat. Back to the food. I think they do better for beef ? I order a Melted Cheese Chicken Karaage Bowl - Regular Well it's average. But I quite like the rice texture. While posting this the girl wanted to clear my drinks . Kind of weird as I am not finished yet. Will not be back. Alot more choices here with better service. Thanks for reading

Service was really fast got takeout in 2 minutes. It is really value for money as I got a large yakiniku don with 3 pcs fried chicken for 13.50. Highly recommended place for a quick takeout of a quick meal. But cane to dine here again. Food was good as always but cleanliness was really bad. The water tasted like sewage water???? Found a fish bone in the cup wow cleanliness if really bad they r lazy to even wash the cup. If u dining here I recommend bringing your own bottle.

Two big problems: 1. There was a cockroach at our table. The cockroach was originally on the wall, and then jumped onto our table, subsequently crawled up the utensil box. Fair enough that after informing the staff, one of them caught the cockroach. 2. One of our eggs shattered the moment we held it, causing egg white to splatter on our bag. Note that we ordered gyudon with double half boiled eggs. The eggs are not add-on. If the customers are expected to crack the eggs, why is there no QC on the eggs? Are we as customers expected to be vigilant before touching our food, so that no such incidents happen? This is not the first time we ate at Sukiya. We have tried the Sukiya from another branch, and the experience was okay. Our experience at this branch was just terrible. I gave 2 stars instead of 1 because the staff did caught the cockroach for us and the taste of the food was okay.
