First time trying this brand and my overall experience is good. The place is decently renovated. Place is well lighted, fast food design concept. Decent customer service. Quite alot of choices and what i like about the choices is the ability to mix and match the ingredients. The price is not cheap but definitely cheaper than what will cost you in a well known restaurant. Personally i think the quality and taste is good. The only thing is that since it is a fast food concept then we have to crack the egg ourselves. A small washing area behind to clean ourselves but the soap and tissue finished. Would recommend someone to try it out.

Fast food at its finest! Prompt service and tasty food, plus reasonably price. Order via kiosk or QR code, I think might be able to order at counter, not so sure. Gyudon was really good - sweet, savoury and succulent. Thumbs up! Family love their chicken dishes too.

Quite generous with portions if you order large it might be too much. Food was nice and well seasoned. Super quick with getting food out. The only thing not sure if the half boiled egg was served cold.

Wanted to try this a couple of times but it is always crowded. So, I went there on a non peak hour. So, I guess the whole experience will be slightly different. The restaurant is clean and service was fast. Ordered the beef bowl (M) set meal with vegetables. Portuguese n size was generous. The beef was juicy and it has sufficient amount of data that melt in your mouth. Next time, I will try the others (chicken, salmon, unagi). There is option on low carb bowl, where rice is switch with tofu

The food was actually good, but the half boiled eggs are not even quarter boiled, they were all RAW. We ordered once and we thought it was an honest mistake, but after the second order, we knew it wasn’t just a simple mistake and it might be a process issue. Hope the management will do something for all their delivery orders. We used grabfood.

Sukiya is Japan’s No. 1 chain Gyudon Restaurant. My family of 4 visited the Changi Point outlet for dinner. There is a short queue. The food quality is good, and you can choose different bowl sizes. So if you are not a big eater, you can choose a smaller bowl. The complimentary mugi-cha is also quite lovely. It is nice of them to give mugi-cha instead of just plain water. They offer rice bowls and ala carte dishes with prices starting from $4.20 onwards. We had a good time there, and we had a satisfying dinner.

Affordable and nice Japanese fare. Quick fix with tender and juicy meat😋😋 I always in love with XM size cause everyone prefer more meats. 😂😂 Melted Cheese bowl comes with Tabasco that goes well with meats 👍👍 Worthy and the queue is pretty fast.

Happy about the food, service and atmosphere. Reasonable prices. Bought 1 kimchi gyudon (S) and 1 egg spicy tori bowl (M) and the bill was only 13 SGD. really fast service. Would suggest if you want to try good japanese dish.

Food standard has dropped, the rice is overcooked, some parts of the rice is undercooked and crunchy🫠 As you can see the rice is all clumped up, the texture is so mushy and it's quite unappetising tbh. Paid extra for egg but instant regret when I saw the overcooked and mushy rice, and worse when I bit into it and some part of the rice was crunchy (undercook). Couldn't finish the rice at all🫠It's so mushy yet some parts are crunchy. Gross🫠🫠🫠 Whoever who's in charge of preparing the rice in the kitchen on 27 August evening, I'm speechless at how you can't even cook rice properly😭Cooking overcooked and undercooked rice all at once, you can consider that an achievement made🥲

Ordered beef yakiniku bowl with 2 soft boiled eggs. The beef is tender and tasty. However, finds the meat portion ratio to rice is rather small for a large bowl. Overall, still quite tasty!

Ordered the half boiled egg demi-glace mushroom gravy gyudon on their menu as I’m a huge fan of mushrooms 🤩 Ordered the small bowl and was a little upset that I couldn’t find any mushrooms in the sauce 😢 Nonetheless, the saving grace was that the demi-glace gravy and half boiled egg paired extremely well with the rice and meat. Tried the Sparkling Lychee & Berry Fizz too and I really love this drink. 😍 It was not overly sweet and I could taste both the lychee and berry in the drink. 😊 This should be a permanent item in the menu!

Nice outlet of the Sukiya Guidon at Changi City Point, place is kinda small but turnaround is fast had to wait barely 10 min for a seat. Can cart orders online first while waiting. Yakitori dons are nice, smokey bbq flavor is evident. The signature beef gyudon is also good, be sure to add an onsen egg to the mix. Unagi and beef combi could do with more sauce mix in the don, unagi itself is ok only not outstanding. Curry rice is quite a bit of rice and gravy, cannot finish. Recommended that you look through the menu to see what's the difference between S, M, XM ,L to determine if you will get more rice or more ingredients, or both. Chicken karaage is good, crispy outside and still juicy. Green veggies is simply done with diced garlic but nice taste. Overall nice, will eat again!

Rating: 4.3 / 5 stars 🤩 : good value 🤧 : - Slightly embarrassed to say that this is my first time trying out Sukiya, despite it being in the market for a fairly long time. Perhaps it’s the outlook that often left me disinterested - how good can this place be? The experience was a fairly simple but satisfying one. I find it very much like a fast food spot, except with proper food. This outlet was crowded even after 2pm on a Saturday. My partner waited in line for ~10 mins before we had a table. From there, you view and order via the TabSquare QR on each table. Payment is done at the end of the ordering process. Food took a little while to arrive (~10-15 mins). I was expecting a speedier service as the restaurant felt fairly fast-paced. That said, I think 10-15 mins is a fair wait for supposedly made-to-order Japanese dons. My partner and I had fairly similar dishes - gyudon and yakiniku don. Whilst the gyudon is the popular dish, I do prefer the taste of the yakiniku don better. I was deceived by the portion, which turned out to be really filling even without the inclusion of soup/sides. This certainly isn’t the best, but excellent execution at a great price point. Will be back!

The food is so delicious. I ate yakiniku gyudon on the first day and beef curry on the second day. Especially David, a young man from Vietnam, was very kind. He kindly guided us who did not know how to order in Singapore. I think I'll come back tomorrow, too

Serving was fast. Staffs were helpful, attentive and Service oriented. Foods served were hot and well cooked. A rather small restaurant so be sure to come during the off peak hours to avoid lunch and dinner crowd. Its rather crowded during the lunch hours.

Lunch time. Food is decent for the price. Service is terrible. Girl with glasses at the counter doesn't seem to care. Waited more than 5 minutes for my order to go through (which didn't in the end) on the online order service. Nearly had to pay double when the staff told me to pay for my order again manually. Worse, she kept insisting I haven't paid EVEN after I showed her my e-receipt and transaction on my HSBC app. Restaurant shouldn't use these online payment methods if they can't get it right. Can only imagine how much harder it is for older adults who are forced to use them instead of simply ordering from a waiter. Just pisses off the customer really

Great place to eat authentic Japanese food at an affordable price with incredible portion, top up 2 dollars to get a meal consisting of a drink and a side dish. Each item has different size options ranging from S to XL, there is definitely a portion size that fits your appetite. This time, I took the extra large beef bow which costs only $8.90, it was 200% the amount of beef and 125% the amount of rice from the original size. Overall the staff service speed and the ordering site could use a bit of work but overall highly recommended to visit when you have a Japanese cravings or don't have a high budget for a meal, this is surely your go to place to fill up your stomach.

This brand Sukiya became famous for its beef rice bowl in Japan and swiftly expanded into Asian countries such as Singapore and Thailand. I have given a number of reviews on other places but decided to share Sukiya’s new Bibimbap menu. It is basically not much of difference from the Korean style Bibimbap. The one thing I like about Japan is their consistent way of processing food and is guaranteed very process oriented in their steps 😅 Of course I enjoyed the quick and good Japanese bibimbap!!
