Welcomed with a cup of tea before ordering. Speed of serving is pretty fast. Generally ok in taste, no complain.. Just that gravy seems little.. better to have more to me.

This Japanese Restaurant is located at B1 causeway point (woods square) which serves mostly beef don and other side dishes. Scan the QR for their online menu to check out more information. So far the beef is good and affordable. you may select the right meat or rice portion accordingly. Recommended to try it out when you are nearby and no idea what to have for lunch or dinner 😉

Tried other branches and was glad they opened one in Woodlands. Went there for dinner and as usual was presented with dinner crowd. Staffs seems untrained and doesn’t know to prioritise people in queue, clearing tables or takeaway orders. There were uncleared tables with guests queuing outside. Probably more staffs should be deployed since this is a new branch. Food wise it’s always the same good standard beef bowls. Better than the Yo-something. Portions can be selected based on how much you wanna eat. Set menu comes with fried chicken or veg with a drink or soup. Very value for money. Would come often and hopefully they improve in the guests and queue management. Keep it up!

Looks tempting and the place is crowded. But I have to say, price is the main attraction. As for food wise, is just so so. I walked past this restaurant and it looks interesting with full house and a few people queuing. The photos and sample display were appealing. So I got into the queue. Quite quickly I got my seat. Scan and order. I wanted to try the XM size for the Yakiniku beef rice but there are only 2 size options. So it’s misleading. Meaning not everything has that size option as displayed. I opted for veg and soup add on and was wanting to order drink but there isn’t hot drink until they serve me free tea. Nice! Food turned out like fast food taste. Rice top with beef and top with sauce. Not what you expected that the beef is sautéed in sauce at all. So it kind of uneven taste. And meat is little. The veg taste bad. Bad in odd taste of sand and not so fresh, plus some funny garlic bits. I mean, you don’t have to cook it so badly just because it’s a cheap add on. Some people just want to eat more veg. Miso soup is quite nice but too salty. Not a place I’ll visit again. Oh, service is good, like 1 single guy literally running everywhere trying to get seats for people and serving at the same time.

A free roasted green tea, miso soup, a plate of veggies and a gyudon is 6.90. wow. Very affordable pricing. Everything is order via QR code, fast and quick.

Yakiniku bowl comes with burnt smell. Not recommended. Egg Gyudon bowl not bad. We top up karage and miso Soup. Karage taste good though it doesn’t look as good. Anyway, the meal is cheap and is filling. Worth a try!

Cheap and good. Really affordable prices! My fav is the chili garlic one, super fragrant but your breath will really smell of garlic after 😂 Complimentary tea

First time trying out at sukiya,the sizing is abit confusing with the adjustment of rice and meat portion like XM-more meat,L-more rice and XL-Both.The indication should be on the ordering platform as well if consumer is asked to be ordered via QR code.I will say the meat portion is very little much lesser than DONKI despite the price. Honestly I pour the egg then don’t look so empty the meat is just surrounding with minimal portion.The service is alright as the moment we are seated the staff served us with warm tea.

Long time fan of the restaurant but lately found that quality and portion has been dropping. This was the last straw as i ordered my usual yakiniku but the amount of meat was just a measely spoonful. As compared to how it was when they just turned halal, the portions was slightly more generous. If there was truly a downsize i hope at least there should be a price revision.
