As much as i love Sukiya having patronised the other outlets, i can't rate the one here that highly. Don't get me wrong, i hope that they can improve and i want them to succeed here as they have overtaken the lease from previous vendors. But they are going to have to improve. For a first, the food quality seems a bit lacking, rice seems lukewarm at best. The portions is quite disproportionate from the usual i have had in other outlets too, noticeably more rice than the meat. Then the garlic vegetables (which came as a set) is overcooked, just one look at the colour and you can tell. It is not as garlicky as others i have had but this area here may be subjective to preference. Again, vegetables look like they have been cooked for awhile instead of being served freshly cooked. The onsen half boiled egg is also a tad too overcooked. It is not as watery and instead is very clumpy. Not as runny as other outlets. Again, may be subjective but i believe this is not the usual standard. My other member's egg also came out in the same exact condition. Also, as much as the tea is complimentary, only half a cup is served instead of like the usual 3/4 full which is quite unusual. I understand the outlet is new as it has just opened, but just from one visit i could see how it could use so much improvement if it wants to strive to be a successful food chain here in this neighbourhood, and not join in the list of preceding tenants that had folded before it.

ordered a cup of earl grey latte, drink was ready but staff took 5 mins to plan on how to stack & pack all the food into the plastic bag for the customer before me. i saw these at the bottom of my drink which i have never seen before despite drinking the same drink 3rd time this week. went back to check with staff, she said was tea leaves. shouldn't tea leaves be filtered out? staff didn't seem to bother to change a new one for me. service was disappointing.

Food is great as usual; am a patron since the first outlet opened at Suntec. Decided to go during the opening week at Seletar and it was quite disappointing in terms of service. Operationally challenged due to lack of trained manpower which resulted in both long waiting times for dine-in and takeaway customers. Our order was also missing the egg which was a downer. Have emailed in to feedback as well.

Food and service can be better. Store has many seats available for dine in but staffs could not usher customers in. Waited for about 15-20 minutes to get a seat. Food was dry.

I recently tried the beef signature rice bowl at Sukiya Gyudon, and I must say, I was almost blown away by the taste! The flavor was exceptional, and when you factor in the reasonable prices, it’s definitely worth it. The only drawback was the long queue, but given that they are a new establishment, it’s understandable. One suggestion for improvement would be to introduce a Grab self-pickup option to make the ordering process even more convenient. Despite the wait, I’ll definitely be returning for that delicious beef bowl and more.

Waited at the "Please wait to be seated sign" but it was meant to be "Find your own seat" system. Should have let the customers know to expedite the dining. The tables are cleared slowly and can be seen that takeaway is where they want to make their fortunes. Thankfully the food came quickly and tastes good

When reach the restaurant, no want is queuing for the table, so I was standing inside because outside is very stuffy. A tiny female staff asked me to stand outside and the way she approached was rude. After that, I insist to stand inside but I won’t block any way when people going out and in, then the staff just walked away. After I enter the restaurant, she gave me a half cup of plain water and other tables get full cup of water. What the heck is this kind of service?

Low cost and simple Japanese fast food. Can’t complain. It also offers low card meals. Be prepared to queue for a table at normal meal times.

Very clean n nice environment. Foods are great for kids and elderly friendly. Food texture are chewable even for a 3years old kid. We ordered the XL bowl and my kiddos love the fantastic taste. There are available hand washing area if you get your hand dirty. Most importantly, staff here are super friendly and efficient. 4 persons include kitchen! Kuddos!

I had the pleasure of being served by Janet, the lady with glasses, during my recent visit. Janet is a true gem in customer service. Despite being alone, she made me feel right at home with her warm presence and impeccable tone. Her attention to customers’ needs and wants is remarkable, and I genuinely appreciate the outstanding service she provided. Furthermore, the incredible food coupled with Janet’s exceptional service left me thoroughly impressed. I highly recommend this place for both the delightful cuisine and the top-notch customer care. Thank you, Janet, and the entire team, for making my dining experience truly memorable!

Satisfied my craving for Gyudon at this place! Service was fast and quality is well-maintained

Food is tasty The gyudon come in different serving sizes which is very practical to cater for different appetites. I wish this variation applies to the other dishes too. Egg comes in shell which you need to break yourself. This is a bit inconvenient as it can get messy. The place is very crowded and we needed to wait a long time to get seated for 5 people.

Meals served nice and hot. Everything in the bowl is well balanced. Soft boiled egg is served separately for you to decide how you want to enjoy it.

It is a great place for a healthy fast food style Japanese food. I also visited Sukiya in Japan many times and I found many similarities in their layout and processes. However, I still find the Tofu is harder than the one I had in Fukuoka and Sapporo. It is also more expensive for the same item ordered in Singapore. I ordered the Double half boiled Yakitori XL bowl $8.70 and topped up $3.50 for a set but apparently it appears to look quite small in the chicken portion.

Nice hearty bowl of gyudon that is available in a few sizes, from S to XL. The side add-ons to the set is also very reasonable price while still being very tasty. The onsen egg, mixed in with the gyudon was really nice. Chicken Kara-ge don was tasty as well, crispy while still being tender. The restaurant is about quick serve. You can order via a QR code and make payment online. The food will be served very shortly after that.
