Came here for the epok epok but there was apparently a delay at the factory. So tried the mee soto and the chicken wing nasi lemak. Both dishes cost $9 plus but the taste was okay, especially the nasi lemak chilli, which had a bit of kick. The mee soto broth was on the spicy side.

This is the second brand of the original Yang's Epok Epok stall at Bedok Corner (Bedok Food Centre). We are HUGE fans of the stall at Bedok Corner so we came to try this out too. We were a little disappointed that the Epok Epok here isn't up to the standard of the original stall at Bedok. The skin was too heavy and not thin like the stall at Bedok. The fillings, potato and sardine, remained yummy. However, the skin and the filling of an Epok Epok go hand-in-hand. So, having one aspect off made a big difference to its enjoyment level. Also, we found that there was some inconsistencies when we bought a second batch of sardine Epok Epok. The second batch tasted like the original. But when we wanted to get a third batch, they looked like the first batch with the heavy dough again. So, we didn't. Now, the Goreng Pisang. The Goreng Pisang here was sliced thinner than the stall at Bedok. But the overall taste was good thankfully. The Mee Soto that we tried was also good. So, 4 stars should be about right. I hope the stall here improves and gets their Epok Epok right like their stall at Bedok Corner.

Patronised this outlet last month. Easily accessible & plenty of seats as well. Need to be patient during peak periods, may get crowded. Really love the mee rebus & mee soto. Taste so authentic 👍👍👍 Goreng pisang was legit too. Must try!!! Had high expectations for the epok² but was disappointed. The epok² dough was almost inedible, had a foul smell too. It was hard instead of having a crispy texture - weird, since i saw the staffs just frying my orders before selling to me. The sardine fillings was bland & had a peculiar taste. Too much onions, too little sardines. Will consider returning only for these : mee rebus, mee soto & goreng pisang.

Staffs are friendly and the price is reasonable and affordable being in the mall area. Food are lovely. Aside from their famous epok epok, their other sellout dishes are fantastic too. Their nasi lemak chilli sambal so delicious that I ask for more 😋

Had nasi lemak. The sambal was excellent but the rest is ok for the price of $4. If you are willing to pay more, you can try Qiji, or cross the road to Haig Road hawker centre for non air conditioning.
