Pretty nice place! Food is slightly pricier and taste is good. I ordered the carbonara as I've read reviews that is it excellent. However, upon tasting it, it tasted very average. The sauce was not as flavorful and the meat tasted a bit funny. (Had the flavor of ham) The risotto was very salty but well cooked. Had they cut back on the salt, it would've been perfect. Gnocchi tastes great!

The food here is pretty good. Very typical home style Italian if I had to describe it. Simple and tasty, almost fuss free. Would definitely head back whenever I'm in the area. Reservations might be necessary cause the restaurant was full ard 7:30pm. Only thing that grinds my gears a little is that water is charged at 50c/cup. No refills. Perhaps it should be mentioned in the menu or by the wait staff.

spent my birthday here and had a wonderful time as always! Loved the truffle gnocchi, turkey bacon pizza, and the wide range of desserts. we even had their in-house dark chocolate on the house! Will definitely come back again, thank you so much for the lovely service and ambience ♡

it was my first time there. only tried their pasta dishes, wellington, creamy black muscles, bread basket and their dessert platter among the 4 of us. dining in time was limited to 1 hour due to table reservation. food: 3.8/5 service: 3.9/5 ambience: 3.5/5 price: 3/5 would I come again? price is at the higher side. maybe during special occasion. is it worth it to try? why not. try for yourself and be your own judge. 😃

Decided to try Kucina on a weekday lunch. Staff was helpful kind enough to let us dine in with time restriction. There is a wide variety for you to choose from the menu. We enjoyed ourselves dining here. The food was amazing especially the sirloin beef strips with button mushroom in veal jus sauce. The desserts was delicious too.

Dropped by for some late lunch, there’s wasn’t much crowd so food was served quite fast. Portions were very generous, we could not finish at the end & requested staff to takeaway the leftovers for us. Drinks were refreshing, perfect for the hot weather. Super love the spinach tagliatelle, goes brilliantly well with the sauce. However, the prawns did tasted a little fishy & not to my liking. Truffle fries was hot and crispy, truffle balance was just right & not overpowering. Pizza was savoury, crust was just nice. It was neither too thick nor too thin. Overall, we had a pleasant meal. It’s pricey but worth the money.

Came here for dinner, I will say 4.5, very very good Muslim Italian resto imo. Staff are friendly and nice while the ambience is really nice. Food was amazing, had pizzas, pasta, steak, seafood soup and truffle fries. One of the better fries place and pizza was good. Had the squid ink agnolotti, can do more with the squid ink imo. Lasagna was really good too! Downpoint, seems like they're really good with their tomato based menu but also mean it gets pretty gelat after a while since everything eventually tasted similar. Price point is also slightly steeper tbh. Portion is very good though, not too small also not too crazy

Gotta drop a review for this place! Tried their special menu for Fathers Day. It was my first time trying Beef Wellington. The taste was PERFECT! The beef was well seasoned and the pastry compliments the taste. I also tried the Ravioli, the perfect taste hit my tastebud. Pricey but worth your money! My dessert was Creme Brulee. Not too sweet, just nice! Definitely coming back to try out other menu. Best Halal Authentic Italian restaurant ever 😁 Customer service was tip-top too. Their servers were helpful and able to communicate clearly. Just that i understand that coming at 8pm is a bad time since some food and desserts were sold out.

Everything we ordered were pretty good! Grilled octopus was chewy but not rubbery, beef tenderloin doneness is just right👍Truffle fries also a must order! Service was fantastic as well, we only left near closing time and no staff tried to chase us out 👏

Gee I'm late to do a review when I was here on 25th July 2023 with my sister. Been here before twice before they made renovation and I loved the food. Had lunch there. Made a reservation for two at noon. After we are seated near the entrance, we were handed menus. My sister had the chicken which was sous vide, I had the seafood risotto which I topped up for the option of having squid ink in it, we shared the fried platter of something (OMG I'm sorry I can't remember the names though, but just take a look at the receipt which i posted too), a tall glass of ice peach tea for my sister and I had a hot cup of mint tea. The server got our order right but I was sent green tea instead. Still, it was tea so I didn't want the trouble of changing it. My sister said the sous vide chicken tasted a bit dry, but the accompaniments underneath and the sauce was good though. She quite liked the puree underneath her chicken. The deep fried platter of white bait, calamari, prawns(if I could remember or if I was right), these were lightly battered and deep fried. Came with a wedge of lemon, garlic aioli (correct me if I'm wrong😛) and marinara sauce in a cute sauce dish. My sister ADORED the marinara sauce for the fried platter. My RISOTTO, WAS 😍😍😍😍. It was cooked perfectly, deep in squid ink colour, the SCALLOPS and MUSSELS fresh, rice grains weren't mushy and seasoned well. I had a perfect plate of OCEAN for lunch 🤭😜😋😋😋 For a halal risotto to taste LIKE THAT, I'm amazed. Because I've eaten those which weren't halal, it was usually the stock in which it was cooked in, white wine and rice were what make or break a good risotto. I kept raving about my risotto to my sister so many times that she told me TO BEHAVE 🤪 Service staff could do with more smiles and a bit more attentive especially during lunch hour and Chef Gero's kitchen staff who were cooking are kinda eye candy 🤭🤪 Overall, we enjoyed our boujee lunch. The price isn't for everyday everyone's cup of tea, but you're paying for quality. Will be back next time.

Food & Drinks is very good and delicious. Waiters / Restaurant manager and bartender are very professional , kind and excellent customer service. The brand new decor was beautiful and ambience was peaceful. Prefect for dates and family occasions. Overall i am impressed with everything in kucina. I wish Kucina success & best of luck in maintaining the standards. I will be back for more delicious food for sure

Thumbs up to the owner for the couple’s night event! Halal and affordable 4 course meal with superb service. Celebrated my wife’s birthday and they gave a delicious complimentary tart. Good experience and will definitely return! Kudos to Kucina team!

Beautiful interior decors, a restauraunt of class in the heartlands, waiters and waitress were professional, charismatic and proactive. Burrata pizza and crab cake were filled with flavours while the steak risotto was a soulful experience (steak texture was similar to pulled pork which was amazing, melts in your mouth!) . Would come back again!

Went for their first couple’s night. The service was very good. Nice and friendly staff. The food honestly exceeded my expectations. Since the food was already decided for us and we only needed to choose the secondi, I was very skeptical at first as most of the food contained ingredients I would normally avoid. However, both my wife and I cleaned the plates on every course as it was very delicious. Only feedback I have is that it would have been good to state the price of service charge and gst in the promotional video or menu so that we would roughly know the full price. Overall, we really enjoyed the ambience, service and food on our date night. Such a lovely experience indeed.

The last that I dine at kucina was wayyy before covid and before they did the renovation! So, it was nice to be back again, but this time to try their couple’s night menu. First thing first, the interior now looks a lot better and brighter! A little late but better late then never. Heheh. Went on the 29 Sep just for a random date night that was all booked for. As such, I only saw the menu when I was at the place itself. Honestly speaking for the couple night’s menu, I was afraid I would not finish the food or to say like it, because there are some ingredients that I would just avoid and not eat. But well, every plate of the dishes was wiped clean. It was that good! I do have one small feedback, probably the pasta portion could be reduced just a little. To make a little more space for the next course of the meal. Other then that, fantastic! All in all, the food standard is still there! We enjoyed the ambience, service, and food! Till next time!

Although it does not have that fancy dining atmosphere. But the service was great and attentive here. Best thing about this place, it is a legit halal Italian dining. Hearty food with decent price. Enjoyed my meal here. Would definitely go back again.

Awwwwesome! Best dining experience ever! Birthday dinner for 6 pax. Highly recommended. Exceptionally delicious food. Excellent service. Restaurant manager Priya was amazing; attentive, professional yet warm and friendly. When she learnt that it was our first visit and not knowing how big the portions are, she gave excellent suggestions and advised when we had ordered enough. She was spot-on. Every dish was delicious... ravioli, squid ink linguine, boat pizza, truffle fries, and the highlight, Tomahawk. Not one scrap left. To top it off, they gave a surprise present: tiramisu complete with a birthday candle. So yummy! They definitely over delivered. Thank you Kucina for a lovely evening. We will return.

Nice cozy ambience with attentive staff. The La Barca pizza was simply the star of the meal while the carbonara was a bit too heavy going for me. Overall, the food was fantastic albeit at a higher price point.

Had an absolutely great time bringing my team over for dinner. Top notch service from Priya, the restaurant manager and awesome food. Priya was extremely helpful from the very first phone call and went the extra mile to cater to my requests. Everyone went home with a smile on their face, and that said a lot! Definitely recommended for everyone to try them out!

The staff are attentive and helpful. Also the food is great! It's Halal also. The beef wellington in this review is a special for this month (December 2023) and it's good. The other regular menu is delicious as always. Do note there's more items in dine in as compared if you ever get a takeaway delivery service.

3 of us finished so many food shows that how delicious the food are. The kitchen is headed by an Italian chef, the quality of the food is at high standard. The portion of the pasta and the thickness of the pizza is just right. We had a wonderful dinner on that evening.

We experienced an impeccable 10/10 food and service at Kucina! Seated in a delightful private room for our party of 8, the ambiance was perfect for an enjoyable evening. Ankit and Zaki provided an outstanding service, recommending delicious dishes and attentively checking in on us. Their dessert showcase was a highlight – absolutely delectable and delicious! We ordered a plethora of food and by the end of our dinner, our plates were spotless with no leftovers! It was truly a wonderful night with my friends. I wholeheartedly recommend Kucina for a memorable experience with family and friends. Thank you, Kucina, we can't wait to return!🫶🏻

Newly renovated, nice ambience. Food was always top notch. No complaints. The only thing that I wasn’t quite happy about is the service and staff. Honestly I didn’t experience this before in the past. All staff working yesterday was not welcoming and friendly from the one who walk us to the table, the one who took the orders, the one who serve the food and also the one collecting the payment. I mean with the price you pay which is not cheap so it’s normal to expect a good customer service and a pleased dining experience.

My husband and I returned for a second visit, and we continue to be impressed by the outstanding food, impeccable service, and delightful atmosphere! We felt truly pampered and treated like royalty by your staffs. The grilled octopus remains our favorite dish, and the ravioli was absolutely delicious. The gnocchi salmon was delectable, with the fish cooked to perfection. As a tea lover, I highly recommend the lavender earl grey—it's now my personal favorite drink. For dessert, the chocolate flourless cake stole our hearts! Its warm, gooey texture made it an absolute delight. Kucina, you've once again exceeded our expectations on our second visit. We can't wait to dine with you again!🤍

Second time visiting the place but this time it was much quiter! The food experience over all was satisfactory. The steak was well done as I requested and the cheesy sauce had a nice flavor to it, however the potato cubes were very few considering it's a main dish! It had some exotic plant from God knows where 😂 I asked the waiter about it and he said it was a common Mediterranean vegetable! Which is weird given that I'm 100% Mediterranean and have never heard/ate or seen this before in my life 😁 The risotto balls were crispy however the meat inside was flavorless. So it just tasted like crispy rice balls which wasn't half bad but nothing that wowed me in the flavour to convince me of the slightly over priced menu.. but I get it. We all have to pay the rent. The young man who received us was welcoming, polite and professional. The place needs a bit of touch ups with a few things which I noticed.

Halal restaurant with high quality dishes! Bravo to the store manager, Priya for company dinner arrangement, all of us enjoyed the dinner very much. She is professional in recommending and introducing signatures and must try dishes one by one, excellent service! Food wise, 4 stars out of 5 as some dishes can be improved. Love the private room with quiet and cosy environment, just nice for 11 pax of us. Minimum spending for private room at SGD750 which is very friendly compared to other restaurants with high minimum spending required. Highly recommended to everyone!

Was there 2 weeks back. Food is nice and tasted good except 2 dishes. My main course where my jumbo prawns weren’t well cooked. My hubby had squid ink pasta and I felt that the squid ink has a strong fishy taste. Not to my like. The Caesar salad is good and tasty. The ambience and services were ok and responsive.

We ordered 5 dishes and they were all scrumptious! The texture of the pasta, the balanceness of the sauce, the tenderness of the beef wellington; perfect! A little personal note though, the lasagna was too salty to my liking.

Staff are friendly and attentive! Food was fantastic except for the cakes, we were quite disappointed since the dessert is the last course and it left an unpleasant taste. It was a 'wow' to a 'hmm'. We love the Truffle Mushroom Pizza which is the special for the day. Price is on the slightly higher side, Mushroom Pizza is $35.90. But we'll be back! Gave 4 stars for the atmosphere as we are not so comfortable with the open concept where passers-by can look in..

Reserve in advance if coming on a Saturday evening. It’s in a mall , basement and doesn’t have wash facilities. Food is presented well, and I enjoyed it albeit my salmon dish was a little small but fine it if you order more than one course. You can’t really go wrong with good Italian cooking and this place is no exception, so worth a visit even if outside surroundings aren’t the most relaxing.

This place is always fully booked, even 2 weeks in advance, especially on a Saturday during Ramadan. So i booked it 2 months prior. The service was impeccable, and the food was good. We ordered a calzone (big portion suitable for my husband) and a salmon gnocchi (small portion for me). Although the calzone was huge, the crust was very light and flavour was good. Although the salmon was small, the gnocchi was filling and the sauce was interesting in a good way. We were so full and it was a very pleasant meal. I am making plans to visit this restaurant to try the other items on the menu!

First time to Kucina Italian Restaurant with our guests and they truly enjoyed the ambience with a private corner to just 9 of us where we can eat peacefully and chat comfortably. You just don’t feel like you are in a shopping center. The food was really greatly done too. Personally I like the La Barca boat shape pizza with the cheesy filling, mussels and the tomahawk. The tomahawk was big and has a unique fragrant that just linger in my mouth. Other dishes that we ordered were equally yummy. Serving was generous that makes it worth every cents we paid for. So far the only restaurant I know about that is totally halal and serve high quality food and services. Special thanks to Priya for accommodating to our request and to make this dinner happened cozily. Also thanks to your 2 other staff (including those who helps in between) who attends to us almost immediately to change away the dirty plates, utensils and removing the empty dishes. Will definitely recommend this restaurant to my Muslim friends & colleagues.

It was a memorable dining experience for my mum’s birthday celebration. Tried the Tomahawk and it is so tender and juicy with the right amount of charred. Pizza was addictive and we also had 3 other pastas. Dessert was divine… and as the saying goes “not too sweet”! (Special shoutout to the manager on the Saturday night shift sorry I didn’t catch your name) She was very attentive and the service was top notch.

That's great customer service! I wanted to specially commend service staff- Priya for her going above and beyond today. When one of our dishes was too salty, she promptly replaced it with a fresh one, ensuring we had a delightful dining experience. Her attentiveness truly made our lunch special. The combination of delicious food served in a nice ambiance really makes for a memorable meal. Will definitely revisit again !!

Very good food — the only minor complaint was that the veal was a little tough in places. The crab cake, tiger prawns and burrata were excellent. But otherwise it was delicious, with flavours popping and excellent presentation. The management should consider reviewing the music however — it was entirely not in keeping with the vibe of an Italian restaurant.
