Waited over 20 minutes for my food. My order number was 197, but the customer after me with order 198 received her food first. Very disappointing. Hope the ordering system can be improved.

Wok Hey is my go-to whenever I’m craving quality fried rice—always reliable in both taste and consistency. Most recently, I ran into an issue with a Foodpanda delivery order, and Wok Hey’s customer representative, Charisse, stepped in to help. She was quick to understand my concerns, proactive in providing updates, and offered clear solutions for me to consider. Honestly, she was even more helpful than the Foodpanda representatives I spoke with—which really says a lot about Wok Hey’s true commitment to customer reliability. With a representative like her, I feel assured knowing that Wok Hey truly stands behind its food and its customers. Thanks again, Charisse!

Great lunch delivery! I really appreciated that the food arrived at the perfect temperature. I decided to try the cauliflower rice (paired with prawns and egg) as a healthier alternative, and it was surprisingly flavorful and satisfying. If you’re looking for a hassle-free, nutritious meal delivered to your door, this is a fantastic option.

Inconsistent. One word to describe this outlet. I tried this outlet once a week when I worked at Tanjong Pagar and always ordered Laksa Fried Rice with Grilled Chicken, add-on Lap cheong and Sous vide egg. This place is very conveniently located. It's near the MRT exit and a lot of office buildings so getting a meal from wok hey isn't hard in CBD. Wait time can get really long during lunch rush or dinner rush so better to order online than in-person. I always order my food online before going home so I can't say much about the ordering experience. Though if you want to order in-person you have to do it on a kiosk and wait. The service in receiving the food is a struggle sometimes. Every cook may be doing orders and there is nobody to hand you your order or someone is busy and not looking up. This sort of behavior for picking up food isn't really time-saving honestly. The food itself is usually excellent, but they leave out certain ingredients for no reason. In my case when I ordered the Laksa Fried Rice with Grilled Chicken + Lap cheong + Sous vide egg for the 1st time there, they left out the half ramen egg that was in the photo. Disappointed when I found out at home but I didn't write an angry email to them. The taste of the food is.. inconsistent. There's always a laksa smell from my oyster pail but on different days, the rice is tasteless or tasteful. Because of this inconsistency I had to start adding more laksa sambal into my orders as like a "backup taste". Aside from all that, the food is delicious. Overall, just make the food more consistent. Oh and it's not just this wok hey outlet as well.

Please refrain from ordering unless you’re willing to wait ages for your food. Promised an approximate wait time of 10-20 minutes. Watched the staff churn out 3 cups of food in 30 minutes. Maximum efficiency. Absolutely bonkers how a quick and fast food joint can take absolute ages to serve a measly amount of food. Especially during off peak?? Don’t try their dry laksa. it’s mediocre. Save the time and effort and walk down to Maxwell food center and get faster and cheaper food.
