Interesting fresh pasta but the sauces are pretty mild. I prefer stronger flavors so it doesn't fit my palette. The crab pasta had loads of crab meat and tasted quite crabby which I enjoyed. The other 3 weren't as strong though. I think you'll really enjoy the pasta here if you enjoy mild flavors!

Great dining experience and very friendly staff! The pink sauce salmon was well done and very tasty. They had three different types of pasta to choose from, each with unique and distinct flavour profiles. Portion size might be small for those with big appetites but no complaints!

Staff is having a good attitude and service Shop is a little bit warm We ordered pink salmon and chicken pesto The pasta noodle is really awesome. But the sauce itself still have room of improvement. Just my 2 penny, the pesto sauce could be more nutty and put in more basil to enhance the taste of the sauce, currently barely taste that. And it can be a little bit less salty. The pink sauce is a bit sour and lack of the fragrant of the tomato. Generally all good, and will try it again see if there's any improvement.

The mafalde was over cooked and had a mushy texture, this is even at the standard for fresh pasta. The duck was dry. Only the pasta sauces and the portion size were good. Had water from the aircon above dripped on me (luckily not in the food). Didn’t have a good experience Will not go back. Really is street food.

Good halal option in Novena area. The pastas are fresh and the portion is quite filling. We tried the chicken white, rose duck and Napolitano pasta. Prices around $17 per pax after GST and service charge.

Great dining experience and friendly staff.. First time trying the pink sauce, I would lean towards a preference for white sauce.. The tangy and sourish undertones of the pink sauce didn't quite align with my personal liking.. The prawn is fresh though.. Were also given three pasta choices to choose from.. think they used to have the build your pasta option but no longer offering it anymore..

Not bad! For me the dish size was sufficient, choice of pasta type was intriguing and chose the Mafalde (real curly). Had Creamy Chicken, White sauce + the cold brew tea was refreshing as well. How I got there: Novena MRT, Exit B, walked out of Velocity, to the mall next door. But I think there is a connecting path through the malls, next to Toast box.

The menu and pasta choices here not as extensive as their other outlets. However food was just as good. Black prawn came out the best amongst the three. Excluding the chilli flakes placed in the centre which gave the dish unnecessary heat, the flavours were wow wow wow.

Truffle Mushroom Tuesday. 🍄🍝 Novena holds a special place in my heart. Iykyk. 😆 So, I’m very happy to go to Tipo Strada at Royal Square for lunch today. It’s my first time eating at this halal pasta restaurant which is small and cosy. I can imagine holding an intimate press conference here with my halal media tribe. 🐍🐇 The Truffle Mushroom Pasta tasted pretty good. As described in the menu 👉 Lively Medley of mushrooms in porcini combo stock with black truffle paste and truffle oil. I wanted to order a cappuccino but was told that coffee was not available. The setting is simple and basic, fast food style. The outdoor area is not pleasant due to the roadside construction activities. After sampling all three types of handmade pasta, my favourite is the blue pea - in texture and size. I like the salmon pink dish.

If you've gone through the trouble to get a reservation at Tipo, you should be building your order around the concept of eating as much pasta as possible. The Black Prawn and Creamy Crab from “Favourites” menu are very exciting and refreshing pastas, but you really can't go wrong with anything from this section of the menu. The pastas are made in-house and accented with good cheese. This food review is done incognito and it’s subjective as it depends on the likes and dislikes of myself. One man’s meat is another man’s poison. It’s best that you try out the food reviewed here for yourself :)

Saw the recommendation from TikTok and decided to try this place. Food was great and it's reasonably priced considering it as a customised pasta place. Before we place our order, the staff would bring out samples of the pasta to let us have an idea how the pastas look like. Then we chose our pasta base. The service was excellent. I've never seen anyone who takes pride in his job. The guy who served us noted we ordered 2 bottles of 750ml of water and guess maybe we may not realize how big the bottle is. He served us with one bottle first and suggested if we still want the 2nd bottle, just let him know. He won't charge us until we confirm. I am amazed! I never trust any server taking great pictures but this server took great pictures of my friend and me. I never got his name unfortunately 😔 Service exceeded expectations.

The choice of different types of pasta was quite interested. Pastas are cooked to perfection. The creamy crab pasta was so-so. The mushroom truffle pasta sauce was quite flavorful. But they sell out quite fast here, come early, even before 6pm as their friendly staff adviced. At 8:25pm, they are closing at the Novena branch.

Tipo really impressed me! The Duck Carbonara was like a flavor party, and the Creamy Crab Pasta was pure comfort in a bowl. Solid 4 stars for the delicious food and cozy vibes. Definitely coming back for more Tipo treats!

i usually like tipo but the quality between the two strada outlets are so inconsistent. look at these two photos. the first one with the darker, greener, thicker sauce is from the tipo strada at keong saik (the same concept as novena). it was good and everything i want out of a pesto pasta. the second photo is the actual pasta i got at tipo strada in novena. the taste and texture of the sauce is completely different. also the sauce was disappointing, it had no pesto taste and it was so wet. just disappointed. also can't believe i paid 19.72SGD for this

Ordered a pink salmon chili garlic linguine and I really like the sauce and smoked salmon was fresh too. Just a bit disappointing is that the portion size is not very big, and the menu here doesn’t really have much sides to share (was thinking about fries sort of sides) They have coffee too and it’s decent. Service wasn’t too bad.

chill pasta place in novena. i like how the choice of pasta is displayed on a plate, clearly named, for our reference. creamy crab pasta was soo creamy, almost milky. chicken arrabbiata was good. service that day was great too! we visited on 7 feb for lunch :)

Ordered online for pick up from Oddles. They didn’t “receive” the order until the manager tapped some buttons on his iPad and the order chit magically appears. There were zero customers in the restaurant so they could start cooking immediately. The food is actually decent, but the ordering experience is for sure 1 star. Oh, because they rushed the order, they put in chilli flakes into my pasta instead of packing it separate as stated in my order.

A cosy pasta place located at Royal Square @ Novena and the place was quite packed on a weekday night. The main highlight of this restaurant is the selection of different types of pastas and the customization of pasta sauces + toppings. We tried the paprika creste with chicken arrabiata ($15.50) and the tomato basil mafalde with creamy crab ($19.90) in 120g servings. Love the al dente pasta but toppings could have been more generous. The creamy crab pasta was je lak towards the end. Overall quite reasonably price for this quality of pasta.
