Went to The Udang Clan for brunch on a Tuesday morning before the lunch crowd arrived. We got there right when they opened at 10:30am, and there were plenty of seats available. We ordered their signature prawn noodles, both the dry and soup versions with yellow noodles. One thing I liked was that the chilli is provided separately at a self-service station, so you can add as much or as little as you want and adjust the spice level to your preference. The flavours were rich, bold, and incredibly satisfying. The prawns were huge, fresh, and cooked perfectly. It was my first time dining here, and I definitely wasn't disappointed. 10/10 highly recommend! I'll definitely be back to try more items on the menu.

Heard good reviews about this place. Come here for lunch. Order Dry Prawn Noodles and Prawn Dumpling Noodles. Taste wise, one of the best, and the Prawn based soup is thumb up. Do come here before 11:30, as it be quite crowded during lunchtime.

Prawn Noodles Review Noodles (Dry with Chilli) – 3/5 The noodle texture was fairly standard and did not particularly stand out. I ordered the dry version with chilli, which complemented the dish well, but the noodles themselves were average. Soup / Broth – 5/5 As this is a halal restaurant, there is no pork used in the broth. Despite that, the prawn soup was exceptional and instantly reminded me of some of the best prawn noodle soups I have tasted in Penang. The broth was rich, aromatic, and packed with umami. You can immediately tell that a generous amount of prawn heads was used and simmered for hours to achieve such depth of flavour and fragrance. Umami Factor – 10/10 This is the kind of soup that leaves a lasting impression. The robust prawn flavour lingers in your memory and has you craving another bowl days later. In fact, it was so good that I bought some home for my family to try. Will I Return? Absolutely. The noodles may be ordinary, but the outstanding broth alone makes this place worth revisiting.

Totally an underrated place! We were looking for a new place to try and chanced upon this place. We tried their Signature Prawn Noodles, Fish Lor Mee, ala carte Prawn Dumplings and Calamari. Say no more, we found our new go-to Prawn Noodles joint! Friendly service, great food+portion. Only downside is the location (cbd area), but other than that, it’s worth the visit👍🏼 PS. (Unimportant but) Another way to know whether a food is 💯 is to see even the non-muslims enjoying it as well!

27 Apr 26 - was here around 1145 am. first visit here and tried the prawn bee hoon dry. Had the medium size for more vegetable and prawns. Added the fried calamari and pickled cucumber. Overall food was good. Pickled cucumber a little to sour. Calamari not great. Once 12 noon, the crowds started to come in.
