A delicious Halal Certified Japanese Udon / Donburi restaurant located in an office tower. If you are in the area, or even a 30 minute walking distance away, it is well worth the walk to come here. I had their Japanese Burdock Tempura Udon - the clear soup is delicious - if you are a slow eater, you’d be better off ordering the dry version as the Burdock tempura will quickly soak up the soup. Definitely in my list of must visit places when I come again to Singapore.

Visited on a weekday afternoon and had the whole place to myself. Went with the Big Fishcake Udon Soup with a side of mixed karaage (spicy & non-spicy fried chicken). Not much of an udon lover but the springy texture of the udon had me slurping down that bowl of noodles in no time. The big fishcake was also very literally big and the soup was extremely flavourful - much like the ones I've had in Japan. Pleasantly surprised to know that they offer extra toppings (tempura crisps, spring onion, shichimi etc.) and free hot/cold green tea as well. My new go-to place if I ever feel like having udon, will try the other variations next time!

Nothing short of incredible food at this restaurant here. If I could, I'd dine here everyday. The beef udon (19) has tender bites of beef bathed in a rich umami udon broth. A sip of the incredible broth would render you speechless. This stall is manned by a well-mannered Japanese man who cooks and prepares every bowl with passion. He bows with joy as he serves his food. I opted for an optional side set of currydon and karage for 7. The chicken is freshly fried and the curry Don is jam packed with flavour. Side note: the hot and cold green tea is free flow here. Somehow, the tea tastes amazing too. Leagues better than any tea I've tasted at any ither Japanese restaurants. Definitely one of my favourite hidden jems.

Excellent halal udon restaurant at CBD, good portion, plenty of sides to choose, free refillable hot/ice tea. Slightly more pricy, but considering the location, the price is normal. Waiting time is a bit long as not enough staffs.

We finally made it to this Fu-Men, and boy, was it delicious. I ordered the Udon with sweet beancurd, and the husband went for the dry maze udon. Both were equally good. The broth for the sweet beancurd udon was flavourful, and the noodle had a nice chew. Don’t forget to order the crispy prawn tempura and ajitama egg while you are at it. They made the perfect pairing! I also love the Japanese song playing in the background, and the Japanese staff was welcoming. I am glad that fellow Muslims can now enjoy authentic Japanese cuisine at the comfort of this halal fuss-free restaurant. I will be back soon!

The outlet offers free seating and you can place your order via the kiosk machine. Do wait for your buzzer to alert you before you head to the collection counter to collect your food and drinks. I ordered the plain udon with chicken katsu on the side. Topped my udon with all four toppings (which are free!). The udon was very refreshing and tasted very clean. It wasn't oily and I think I finished off 3/4 of the soup. This was my second visit and I'd love to visit again when I get cravings for udon.

I was craving udon noodles and this place really delivered. I had the beef udon noodles. The broth was fantastic and the udon noodles were cooked perfectly! There was also free green tea on the side. Highly recommended!

The shop staff are very rude to me when I was patiently waiting for the buzzer to ring for my take away. The buzzer has never rang for 40 mins until I had to go there to ask them in person. All I got is the staff ignored my comment when I said the buzzer never rang but angry at me saying they shouted many times and why I wasn’t nearby to hear. Then what’s the point of giving buzzer and I was even requested to key in the buzzer number in the kiosk machine I had to order food with??? Rude attitude. Avoid it at all cost!

I have always loved to eat at Fu-Men Japanese udon. My preference was the meat soup udon. The best part it is halal. Good value for money & delicious taste. Will keep coming back to try other food available there.

Really great place for Udon. I got to admit, I was initially skeptical about this restaurant as Udon restaurant may not be associated with being Halal. However, I am absolutely wrong. Ordered the Burdock Tempura with a set B which comes with the curry don and managed to swap the chicken for Inari Sushi. Absolutely love it. The stock for the udon was fantastic. The Inari Sushi was the best I have tasted so far. Love this place and will be back!

3 Dec: delicious authentic Japanese food as usual. Delicious food. Nice udon. Free toppings and they are willing to give, not just give a small amt for the sake of it. The food is quite sufficient, doesn't look small as menu shows. Price a bit on the higher side. Sides: 1 piece ebi and 2 pcs chicken is $4.5. But crispy and tasty as it states. Free cold or hot tea. Polite cashier then greets you when leaving. But she does the cashier and clearing of trays so might be overwhelmed. When you enter, the start of the queue is vague and you might not be attended straight away. I guess just stand around the cashier and wait will do.

When they were still at Canberra plaza, it was my go-to weekend lunch so when I was ard the area at Heong Leong I just had to have my lunch there! One of the best Udon stall and reminds me so much of Japan! Portion was big and price is affordable 👍

Mediocre overpriced food. I don’t know why other people who review this restaurant says the price here is reasonable? If you see other shops within this vicinity, their prices aren’t exorbitant. also, the food here lacks flavour. Will not visit again.

I was lucky enough to break my fast here as it's all halal!!!! The food was great, a lot was sold out as we were pretty much the last to get there before they closed but it was great. Grab your number next to the till and select your order then sit down until your number vibrates, then collect your amazing food. Good portion sizes especially with a couple of sides. Good value as well, thank you for letting me break my fast with you.

Ordered the smoked duck udon during lunch time. Waited for less than 10 mins~ The food was nice, the broth was warm but not too hot and the slices of duck can be easily chewed. Overall, will come again if the craving arises.
