Best lunch place in CBD area! I really can eat here everyday haha. The Q is always long even if I come at 11.30. But I think I can understand since the foods are nice. I tried their sambal sotong, ayam gulai, and rendang but my favorite is sambal paru (beef lung). The side veggies are tasty as well. they have 4 kinds of sambal, the orange-color looking one is the most spicy and taste very close to the sambal I am familiar with back in Indonesia. They usually have some traditional snacks as well, I tried their kue lupis. Pretty good. Def must try!

Located at HLEONG building basement. Hjh Maimunah Mini never dispoint me. Nice food and great taste. Prepare for long queue when lunch time. Teh botol sosro for $2.5. The plastic plate is not firm, becareful when holding it. The price is ok., Highly recommended!

Delicious Nasi Padang! Go early (11.30am) to avoid the long lunch queues and to ensure that your favourite dish is still available for choosing. Tried their sambal kankong (morning glory with chilli), sambal telur(chilli egg), sayur lodeh(vegetable stew in coconut milk), and ayam goreng bumbu(fried chicken). Everything was cooked to perfection and it costs a total of 8.70 for the dish. Be warned if you cannot handle spice, the food served is on the spicier side. Opt for a drink to wash it all down if needed. Most definitely worth of a return trip to try the other dishes on their menu. The long queues speak volumes of the quality of food served.

Very dishonest behavior of charging customers. One item I chose was the Tofu/tempeh with long beans, which was displayed in one pot. Lady only gave me the tofu/tempeh with only 1 long bean. I asked the cashier if can at least give me some long beans, which he gave 5 more of it. Initially he charged me $7.50. But after he added the long beans, he charged me $9 - ie $1.50 more for 5 beans.

I order the sambal sotong. Sotong is not fresh. Good variety of food to choose from.

Stop serving food in a plastic plate, this should be illegal! Food was ok but not fresh!

Very popular and long queues during lunch but the food is truly sedap. Got the Nasi Sambal Goreng set and the sauce rly packs a punch so go easy if you have meetings afterwards.
