Had a late lunch at The Tree Cafe. Was attracted to the fairyland like atmosphere. Ordered the Beef Cheese Burger and Mango Tango Smoothie. Burger was good. Very juicy patty. The smoothie unfortunately didn't have much mango taste.

This IG-worthy place seems to be catered towards the students/youths crowd. If you are into cheap, quick food with minimal fuss, this could be the place for you. However if you are looking for better quality food with a cleaner environment, there are many other better options in Funan.

An affordable and chill place! The decoration are very nice and FINALLY, for once, the couch area is actually good for eating, unlike so many other cafes 😂 the food was served at a moderate pace, and it’s super affordable. Everything, plus two drinks, cost us around $32, which is pretty worth for a chill get together meal. There are student and takeaway offers too. Taste wise, it’s okay, the spaghetti is a little bit hard but everything else is fine. Get to choose two sides, similar to ASTONS style. Will come by again :)

A cozy little eatery with food that is not only tasty and colourful but reasonably priced. A good variety of main meals. In the several visits there, the food has never been a let down. The crowd can sometimes be students and thus louder, thus be mindful. Service crew do attempt to ensure a good experience but can be lacking. However, this doesn't take away the overall experience. Come expecting a slower pace and you will have a great time.

Ordered the tofu bowl, garlic bread, and strawberry lemonade. All we tasty, tofu bowl was piping hot and hit the spot. Garlic bread could have been a little better, flavor wise. Friendly service, clean restaurant, cute ambience.

Always pass by this place on work days but it was always too crowded, so I decided to give it a go today. I had the Sou Vid Duck and it tasted really good and finished it of with french toast that’s actually burger bun which i find quite interesting but it was good. Although there are no service charge which makes the price quite affordable, the staffs were attentive to help me out with things. Great cozy place here in Funan. Will come again! 👍🏼

Great little fusion cafe in Funan. We were looking for a cafe with brunch food and came across this place. Their variety is pretty and the prices are definitely better then most cafes in the area. The portions were filling as well. For a Sunday late morning/afternoon the place was busy but we were still able to find seats and food was served within 10 mins of ordering. The tofu bowl is a good vegetarian option and the set option with soup is worth it as well! Well definitely come back again

Had the seafood pesto pasta and I really enjoyed it. They weren't stingy with the seafood - it came with three huge prawns and four big chunks of fried fish. The mushrooms and tomatoes also elevated the dish. At $14.90, this dish was really worth it. If you're a student, you can enjoy $2 off all menu items! Also tried the sesame chicken bowl, the chicken mushroom pasta and the milkshakes. They were all also delicious. The service was very fast, maybe because we were there during non-peak hours. The atmosphere was also lovely.

We are familiar with the Tree Cafe due to the branch at The Cathy. However, it is really disappointing to be served with breaded fish and fries which were fried by oil that has not been changed for quite some time. Fries is so hard and the breaded fish is so dark in colour & tasted so bad due to quality of oil. Hope improvements can be done.

Tried the "Eggs Royale" and Breakfast Pancakes. Firstly, the Eggs Royale should not be described as such, as it is nothing like an Eggs Royale. It came with the egg whites completely uncooked (and I like soft eggs). Took it back to the waitress who asked if I wanted it "more cooked". There's really only 2 ways to make poached (or sous vide) eggs... right or wrong. Then it came back as shown in the photo. How they can serve that I have no idea. The yoke now completed overcooked, and the white STILL not cooked. How do you even do that? Then to the pancakes, which could only be half eaten as well. It came with a burger patty that had more oil come out of it then I have EVER seen. At the point I videoed it, we had already filled a plate with oil, and had to ask for another plate, to try and salvage something from the meal. Most of the pancake had already been soaked in the oil, and the scrambled eggs were sitting in a pool of it. Worst of all, the staff all found it funny. When the waitress sniggered behind her mask the second time, I asked for my money back (although I was realllly hungry and just wanted to eat). She gave me cash back for one. Really, I should've been offered or insisted upon a full refund. Just disgusting. Only saving grace... Coffee wasn't too terrible.

Had my lunch at the very first time at this cafe. Cost wise its affordable. Food wise its worth to try. The truffle cheese is fabulous. You guys should give a try. For the first time i sad there for an hour due to the atmospher of the cafe. Calm and relaxing. If you are looking for a place to eat or chill do head down to funan's branch. And its not crowded.

A nice place to dine with friends at Funan Mall. Simple yet clean & cozy cafe that serves affordable meals. They’re offering good deals for students at the moment, & I noticed there were students dining while studying at the side tables with couch seating. I like that the cafe has a complete menu selections from rice meals, pastas, soup, homemade drinks, and desserts like cakes & waffles. We’ve ordered rice meals-Teriyaki Chicken, Sesame Chicken, and Homemade lemon tea (Total bill: sg$26.70). Will come back to try other dishes

the portion has gotten smaller - specifically the aglio oglio. The fries are good! ◡̈ Sadly the chicken was very tough.. Used to be much better! The rock honey(?) sauce was appetising as usual! Good ambience!

Disapponting experience with the food. Duck confit was sous vide but without any crispy skin unlike was shown in the menu photos. Duck itself tasted plain too, with only the sauce providing some semblance of flavour. Overall, it was a big plate of sad.
