Food is not too bad, ambience is nice and chill. Good place to hang out with friends. I recommend the pasta over the fried food, but I don't recommend getting the truffle fries as it very thin and crispy, no potato at all. Unless that is what is what you prefer, don't get it. :( Overall, it has a pretty good truffle flavour, but it is quite oily. Their sweet potato fries is recommended though!

Ordered thru grab. Not sure what made you all think it's okay to send out a burnt mac&cheese to customer. The pasta was hard it was inedible.

I had been eating foods from this cafe (E-hub!) and i'm always happy of the food for many years, recently i just pay for the food and waited for it to cook. But the main problem is not the food, there was one lady with the glasses was being harsh asking me "Did you order any food?" my receipt was on my hand and show it to her but look away as her staffs told her that i order, so later i feel upset with her, not the food. After the staffs cook and prepared my food, i told them "Thank you, Take care!". What i care the most are "attitude & mentality" because it's very important to be a honest person.

Ordered bbq chicken and hamburg steak but staff told me after payment that there was no more chicken or hamburg. Only options were chicken cutlet or fried fish. Ridiculous. Wedges used to be crunchy but it's not anymore. Hope to see some improvements.

Food isn't really wow but you get what you pay for in price its cheap. The service is really slow long waiting time for food and drinks. Had to wait 39 mins for desert to come to the table from ordering! Just for waffle and brownie with ice cream. ( can't be that hard can it?) I had to go up and chase them for it. The desert isn't great but again its cheap

One of the most affordable cafes that I've tried, and food was decent too. It's situated in the middle of the level surrounded by tuition centre's and schools. Note that it may get noisy when the lessons end. Other than that, it was serene as the nearby Tayo station was slated for renovation until End August 2023. All their mains were below $10 if I remember correctly. There is an option to add $2.50 for a set meal, which includes mushroom soup and iced lemon tea. Love the soup, super creamy and peppery. Food was alright though, but can't complain much because of its price point. Their fries were too salty sadly

The food and service was great. The hygiene and cleanliness needs to improve before they deserve the 5 stars. Their Chili/tamato sauce has flies and could possibly be contaminated for patrons to eat. (DO ZOOM IN THE IMAGE). Their tray return area has flies too.

the tree cafe is definitely one of the most affordale cafe in sg. price ranging below $10. the food is nice and very reasonable for the price. no service charge and quite spacious. just outside tayo station in downtown east so very convinient if you bring your kids. chic and waffles although its a bit small portion but i would say reasonable for the price is nice and would recommend this. forgot to take photo coz was excited to eat

We ordered GrabFood on Sunday at 12pm. The restaurant accepted our order but made us wait 1 hour+ for our food. We called the restaurant and they said our order was already completed, but when we texted the grab driver to pick it up, the grab driver said that the order wasn’t done yet. Called the restaurant again and they said that they were still preparing because they are very busy. If you are too busy serving the diners at your restaurant and can’t manage, DONT OFFER GRAB DELIVERY. Will never order from here again OR eat at the restaurant.

Comfortable ambience for a meal while waiting for children to finish their classes. The food is very affordable, my eggs benedict and iced cappuccino are decent enough (taste and size) for $11.50. :)

EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE Rating: ⭐⭐ I've been a frequent visitor to The Tree Cafe, drawn in by its cozy ambiance and delightful menu. However, my recent experience was a roller coaster of emotions, to say the least. Let's start with the service. Our server, unfortunately, seemed preoccupied with an earpiece and a constant stream of calls, leaving us feeling neglected. It was frustrating trying to get their attention, and when we did, our order was still mixed up. To make matters worse, they laid the blame on us for the delay in processing our payment. We ended up waiting close to 30 minutes for our food, which was far from ideal. When our dessert arrived, it was a baffling surprise. We had explicitly requested it to be served later, but it came out as the first course. It felt like a major oversight. Adding to the beverage woes, there was a shortage of ice, leaving us with a limited choice of canned or hot drinks. Now, onto a silver lining - the food. Despite the service hiccups, the dishes were as delicious as ever. The flavors were on point, and it's a testament to the kitchen's skill that the meal managed to salvage the experience. All in all, it's disheartening to recount this experience. As a returning customer, I expected more. The Tree Cafe has consistently delivered great food, but this visit left me with a sour taste. I hope this serves as constructive feedback for them to address these service issues.

I always wonder why this page is always empty. Now I know.... we tried to finish up our paid desserts but we couldn't.. ice cream came melted. Waffles not crispy, lava cake not nice. Very disappointed. Forks and knifes came dirty!! Tables and chairs unkempt, not kept properly not cleaned at all. One lady staff always on the phone instead of keeping the place neat and clean. NEVER COMING HERE AGAIN‼️

Tasty food, friendly staff, but only two of them handling a big crowd (we ordered at least 20 different meals). Despite the busyness, they remained nice and even gave us smiley faces. The staff, Jin Jin and another chef, managed everything with a smile. Worth a visit, but could use more help! They also provide vegetarian options.

Went at lunch hour with a colleague. So quiet, we are the only customers till a guy came along. But the food was really nice n decent. I ordered chick n waffle while my ordered chicken rice bowl. We top up to make it a set with mushroom soup and lemon tea/coffee. I like the soup a lot as it's not creamy, and taste to my liking. There seems to be only 1 guy manning the cafe - provided decent service and quite friendly. Given the quality of the food and cosy seating, this place is worth the money.
