I am very impressed and would highly recommend this place. As a foodie, I value creativity, consistency, and excellent service, and Tahini's Surrey delivers on all three. I had the Habibi Chicken Bowl, and it was outstanding. The warm, perfectly cooked rice, flavorful chicken, delicious sauces, and carefully balanced spices all came together beautifully. The creativity behind the flavors was evident, and the execution was excellent. I'm truly grateful to the amazing team whose hard work and dedication make this place special. My experience with everyone working there was outstanding from start to finish. I will definitely be back.

Decided to order out and give this new place a try and im so glad we did! At first bite, I was surprised at how fresh the doner tasted! Even the bread seemed like it was made in house and/or super fresh. Good amount of meat, pickles and cilantro and not overly loaded with sauces. I'll be ordering from this place again in the future.

**EDIT** Changing to 4 stars since I gave them another try today (June 3rd) during the Wednesday Chicken Shawarma deal. I must say it tasted a lot better and portion seemed better for a regular shawarma compared to the more expensive 'extreme' version I got the first time I visited. I guess the people cooking and serving shawarmas on Wednesday night were better than the ones from Saturday night. ---------- The chicken shawarma was good but I wish the extreme one had more portion. The price doesn't really reflect the portion of the 'extreme' IMO. The portion of fries from the combo is also smaller than the fries you get in a McDonald's Happy meal. I can name a handful of top tier shawarma places in and around Surrey that offers larger portion and cost less. (I paid about $25 for all of this in the photo including drink) I also went with the "authentic" toppings and I could barely taste their garlic sauce. I do however like their wrap and how tight they roll them. This shawarma house is pretty similar to Osmows, in terms of what they offer with the 'fast food style'. I still think Osmows has a bit of an edge over Tahinis. The hot sauce in Tahinis is not spicy at all compared to Osmows which is actual spice. Overall, this isn't a bad place to get your shawarma fix in Surrey, but I'd highly recommend trying other shawarma joints so you can compare and see what I am talking about.

I was excited to try the shawarma poutine, but unfortunately it was disappointing. For a dish that cost around $15, I expected much better quality and portions. The biggest issue was the lack of vegetables. There were only a few pieces scattered throughout, and it felt like they were being added very sparingly. Looking at the bowl, the toppings and vegetables were not balanced with the amount of fries. The fries themselves were another letdown. They were hard, seemed like they had been sitting for a while, and did not taste fresh. A good shawarma poutine should have hot, crispy, fresh fries and generous toppings for what a customer pays for. Overall, the portion presentation looked appealing at first, but the quality and value simply were not there. Unfortunately, I don’t feel this meal was worth the price paid. I hope the restaurant improves the freshness of the fries and becomes more generous with the toppings in the future. No one is asking for extra but give at least a customer pays for.

I recently visited Tahini's and honestly it was a really good experience. The food tasted fresh and full of flavor. I tried their shawarma wrap and it was perfectly made, the chicken was juicy, the sauces were balanced, and the vegetables were crisp. The tahini sauce especially stood out, it added a creamy and slightly nutty taste that made everything better. The portion size was also satisfying, good value for the price💰💰💰. The staff were friendly and quick with service, which made the whole visit smooth. The place itself was clean and had a simple, modern vibe🤩😎 one more thing , churros with berry sauce 😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋🤩Overall, a great spot if you’re craving Middle Eastern food. Definitely a place I would go back to again.
