The first time I was there I found the grey hair staff very curt and aloof, which is no good for customer facing service and I stopped going there. I like Swee Heng bakery, so went there again after many months. Sad to say, I had the same experience, again with the grey hair staff. She is still curt, talk loudly and unfriendly. I can see the team is task and not customer oriented... Actually, I was reluctant to share my negative experiences thinking it could be me. But after reading the reviews, I realized the problem is not me and truly the staff there have issues, especially the grey hair elderly staff.

Male staff with gold chain was extremely rude! A lady went to purchase a box of cake and paid with cash. Without knowing the exact price, she went back to check by asking nicely after receiving the change. But the male staff replied in a rude manner and said $3.40! Then the lady said thanks and walked off while talking to her friend that things has increased price. And from the back, the male staff replied loudly: “ everything has already increased “ in an unhappy tone.

Went there a few times but there was a auntie who likes to squeeze pass you from behind and doesn’t say excuse me, there was once she squeeze through and display the bread on the compartment and elbow hit my daughter. Not even a sorry. Fya the shop is not crowded even. As for other staffs and bakery, no issues.

Today, I made a purchase at the Swee Heng Le Quest outlet and was served by an elderly staff member named Sou Ying. While waiting for my payment transaction to be processed, I picked up the items that had already been packed by her. However, she suddenly pulled the plastic bag away from me and said, “Don’t take first! My receipt hasn’t come out yet.” I found her tone and attitude extremely rude and uncalled for, especially since I was clearly in the process of making payment for the items. In addition, I would like to highlight that she does not appear to dress appropriately for an F&B role — she often does not tie up her hair or wear a hair net, which raises hygiene concerns, especially when handling food. I hope management can look into this matter seriously by providing proper training and ensuring that staff maintain good hygiene and professional conduct at all times.
