Ordered at around 8pm. Service was so bad & all staffs including the manager are bad attitude. Ordered Chicken & Mushroom Melt and the guy staff can tell me cannot customise my order. Said only can have red onions & capsicum. I showed him the picture saying it has sweet corns, lettuce, tomatoes etc. I am not customising is as per the picture they advertised. The staff showed me an annoyed face. Even the manager. When I requested for a change of cup as the drink dispenser didn’t stop & overflowing. The cup was dirty & sticky with coke. The manager went to the kitchen & came out saying he can’t change another cup. He continued to say my Chicken & Mushroom Melt cannot customise in Hougang outlet. My point is why diff outlets selling different items? I am not customising my sandwich, I ordered as what was advertised. Subway always hired rude staffs, even at Asia Square Food Garden. Please your management better buck up to hire better quality staffs. I was never that rude when I was working in F&B

Kudos to the Hougang Mall team. I ordered a sub platter and was told to collect it an hour later. When I arrived about 10 minutes early, they had already prepared half of the order while still serving the queue at the same time. I managed to collect my platter just another 10 minutes later. Great teamwork and efficiency. Thank you! Unlike the Compass One team. I even told them I was willing to wait, but they did not seem interested in helping and simply said their bread was only enough to serve the queue. Please don’t give customers nonsense excuses when you just don’t want to put in the extra effort. Thank you.

I had a very disappointing experience at this place. The environment was not well-maintained — there were several flies flying around, even landing on my bread. What concerned me most was that the staff did not take any action initially. I had to personally wave the flies away, and even then, the staff did not respond until I pointed it out by saying, “There are flies.” Only then did two staff members come over to deal with it. It didn’t seem like they were intentionally ignoring the situation, but rather that they appeared unprepared and unsure of how to handle it. This happened around 2:30pm, which was not a busy period, so it was quite surprising. Both staff members seemed unfamiliar with their duties and lacked a proper response to the situation. Beyond the hygiene issue, the food itself was also disappointing. The portion of ingredients was extremely small, and there was barely any sauce at all. Overall, the food was not worth the price — in my opinion, even $2 would have been too much for what I received. I will not be returning or purchasing from this place again. Definitely won’t be coming back again.

Rude staff! I don’t want to mention who cos I know it’s your rice bowl. But if you don’t know how to serve customers please don’t work at the front service. Makes me wonder if all the 5 star reviews are fake.
