Chicken biryani cost $8.60 now. But at least you are gurantee to be full. Godly: taste From rice to vege to chicken and curry the taste is superb. All the spices ganged up to assault your tastebud. Flavorful chicken and vege. Together with the curry with the strong chicken flavor that goes well with the fragrance hardy rice. Meh. Tenderness of chicken. It was pretty mediocre on the tough side even when it is the thighs. Papadum gets soft a bit too quickly.

A causal dining environment, decent food, the fish curry is flavourful. Good masala tea. A place that will be revisited

The lady who took my order was extremely rude. I ordered naan and didn’t want any sides to go along with it. As stated in their menu $5.00 for one naan. The lady yelled saying I had to purchase the side along with my main order and that’s how the orders are taken. I don’t see how that’s true. The receipt states another thing all together.

The taste of food and customer service is so bad now. Now is new owner I think, this Chinese man at the cashier. So, my mom went to eat biryani, she ordered to dine in, but she had something up, so she needed to leave, thus she asked to take away. The Indian staff there was going to help to pack, but the extremely rude Chinese man stopped her and told my mom off to pack the food herself. He threw the rubber bands and wrapper at my mom to pack herself. My mom even offered to pay for the takeaway packaging but still was rudely rejected. The rude Chinse man at the cashier was even teaching the Indian staff "next time don't pack for them...blah blah blah". I just don't understand what the deal with their food stall is rejecting customers to take away. It's not like we are asking to take away for free, literally offered $$ for takeaway container if there are any extra charges. Asking for take away is a very common request from a dining customer. It's not like we are asking for any weird requests. Truly disrespectful and disappointed at the customer service by the Chinese man. Idk if he's the new owner or not but standards had definitely dropped, both taste and customer service. Will never be eating at banana leaf again. Day and mood ruined...

Shami banana leaf delights . Went to your causeway point outlet 5 days in consectively everyday . Regular of your food . Yet your staff is so UNFRIENDLY . Dont use outside packaging Hence ALWAYS bring our container to place food in . At times after Finishing the food we want to eat more hence asked the staff for refill or repurchase for we pay again . Spent a lot there . Yet this same lady staff say cannot refill using our container ??? What logic is this ?????? Could you pls clarify with your woodlands causeway point outlet . AND WE DONT WANT GRAVY YET OTHER STAFF PUT GRAVY CAUSING US TO DISCARD THE FOOD AS THE GRAVY MAKES IT TOO SPICY . Hence we have to repurchase the food . Even though not our fault . Yet your staff is not cooperative . Have been buying your food ALMOST EVERYDAY . The Experience left a bad taste . Pls advise .

Today, I swung by Shami Banana Leaf's Delights for a bite. Sonya, the F&B staff, was kind enough to guide me through the menu. I opted for their tandoori chicken set, which was done just right. Her friendly demeanor added an extra flavor to the dining experience. Kudos to Sonya for her exceptional service!

Today I ordered vegetarian meal. This staff Sonya was friendly, and she served well. She was kind enough to ask for the feedback on the meal. To me, I enjoyed the vegetarian meal. I take this opportunity to thank Sonya for her service. She was kind and polite.

Very poor quality of food even by Indian-Singaporean food standards, which is already very bad compared to Indian food. The rice was undercooked and colored with food color. The veggies were undercooked as well. Plus, they upsold something to my unsuspecting Chinese friend who went to pick it up. After eating food , I skipped dinner now due to a bad stomach. Will never patronize again.

25Feb'24, Shami chicken Dum briyani was one of the worst briyani i ever tasted. Dum briyani was over spiced with black pepper. chicken under marinated, tasteless, and chicken was so hard n dry. $12 for an awful chicken dum briyani. Not worth the money.

I personally feel very bad because of the staff who not welcoming and taking order in polite manner with the customers. I felt the way they handle customer is disrespectful espeacially the cashier. The food itself was underwhelming. We are customer who are paying you, so treat us well.

Cabbage was so undercooked it was inedible. Disrespectful staff as well, laughed when my grandmother tried to order food in Tamil. When I tried to pay with paywave, man just threw the contactless scanner at me. Unsure what the attitude is about, but will not return.

Worst experience…. Today I first time tried biriyani from this shop. Me and my daughter bought vegetable biriyani and chicken biriyani. Vegetable biriyani cost $9. What we get is not biriyani. It is just plain rice and three side dishes just like from other shops. But the menu name is biriyani and it cost $9. What type of cheating is this ??? I am a Indian and I eat lots of biriyani from different places . First time I got like this. Just some plain rice and some vegetables. What is this ? I should sue them .
