It's the weekend and of course I was out hunting for a a nice place to makan. Googled and it brought me to Gateway at Jurong East. Walked around at the basement and came across Poulet. Nice French-ish inspired restaurant with island and booth seats. We were greeted at the door by a young male wait staff who politely took us to our seats. Prior to that, he took the initiative to ask if we are OK to seat side by side. Not a problem at all as it is the current social distancing situation. We were also given ziploc bags which I assume is to be used to store our mask. Now that's a great initiative. We were then give our menu, a quick guide to the ordering process via the ipad. After a quick glance, we realised that it's mainly chicken ... hehehe .... and of cos we ordered NOT chicken ... hahaha. Instead we opted for the sirloin. My friend had mac & cheese and corn for sides and requested for medium-well and I opted for fries and aglio olio with medium for the sirloin myself. Food arrived about 10mins after. We definitely wasn't disappointed with out steaks cos it was done just right. Slightly charred on the outside and juicy on the inside. Just that my friends was just slightly more done. However, the sauce was a minor point of contention. It seemed watered down, too thin. I still enjoyed my meal though. Oh, we also ordered chicken wings as a starter a sriracha glazed one. It was alright. The staff was bustling around, trying to be attentive and efficient I must say. However, throughout the whole meal, I felt something missing and then it hit me, the whole place was nice and good but it lacked warmth. It didn't seem very inviting and that unfortunately is their minus. The food is one thing but the feeling when a diner steps in is another thing altogether. Other then that, the food, service and environment was nice. Kind of half half about Poulet so probably will visit it again. Nevertheless it was an above average meal. This is our 3rd visit. The food was delivered fast and nice. Mr thomas attended to us promptly and was very friendly. He gave the children biscuits which calmed them down. We had an overall pleasant meal. The food was as usual very nice except the truffle fries. Highly recommended and will come down again to try more dishes.

We came by to celebrate my sisters birthday today. Despite a couple bloopers with our order, I found the service recovery swift and fantastic and without any hassle. Aqmal’s a star. He fronted an amazing attitude while attending to our issues and continued to checked in on us ensuring we were ok. Overall we had a fantastic time with the great service and scrumptious food.

The food and service was excellent.. food was perfectly plated and the taste ever consistently delicious… (really loved the creamy salmon hot pie 🥧). my boys loved their meals, commented on the amazing mashed potatoes…. Lastly, the mango pudding desert was simply to die for…. (Wifey has a sweet tooth) service was great, staff helped us changed seats due to the tight space (had very big neighbours🫨🫨) and was very pleasant. The only downside, not any fault of Poulet or its staff was the annoying voice of a guy on a loudspeaker/mike from the nearby atrium….😵💫😵💫😵💫 luckily it stopped halfway thru our dinner. Once again a great dinner with my family at Poulet🙏🏼🙏🏼🫰🫰👍👍👍👍👍

Food and service is great! Its online the ordering that hits a snag for us. Their system is slow. we thought our order has been entered but apparently we closed our phone while their system is still processing our orders. After waiting for a while and we checked our order, it was not in there system yet. After the snag, our orders were delivered promptly

The chicken pot pie is extremely delicious. the outsiide is crusty, and the inside has mash potatoes mixed with cheese. The beef bolognese and mushroom, truffle risotto is also very tasteful. We had a great time. Great place for dinner dates for couples or friends and family. The staff were very efficient in taking the order, and food didn't take too long to be served.

Always wanted to try pot pie after my last visit to Poulet last month. Today finally tried the salmon pot pie but turned out not to my expectations. I was shocked by the oily cream (as shown in photo). Didn’t managed to finish it as the cheesy and oily taste was overwhelming. However, their signature chicken dish will not go wrong though.

Dropped by on a random weekday during lunch unintentionally with colleagues. Roasted chicken was good with 2 side dishes (salad and Mac & cheese). Ordered onion soup, mushroom soup, pasta and chunky chicken pot pie. Food was ok and serving time was fast.

Food has been served fast and hot after order was confirmed. There's a wide variety of food on the menu. The food has been pretty good, especially the seafood stew and the potato wedges was very crispy. The other dish I would recommend is the oxtail dish and some improvement would be needed for the sirloin and ribeye as they are slightly hard and dry. At the same time we also tried two half chicken cooked in Diane sauce and cranberry sauc, they were superb. However, it would be great if the salad could be serve in bigger portions and if the waitresses could take note to clear the dishes for us to make space for more dish to come.

Service was good the second time I’ve been there. Food is great as well. Half a chicken is a big portion. The mushroom cream sauce is a must to try. *The first time I ate there the waiter who sat us was not that polite. Didn’t gave us the menu & the QR code to order. Until we asked for it 🫠 Over all. Happy tummy 😋 Merci beaucoup 🙏🏽

food and service were terrible. we were first placed by a seat near the kitchen, of which one of my guests asked whether we could sit slightly further away, since the restaurant was relatively empty. female server rolled her eyes at us despite us helping ourselves to the move, she did not even have to do anything. i ordered the chicken pot pie, which looked promising at first but was immediately disgusted by the contents of the pot pie being submerged in oil. the food was barely edible in this state. the chicken was dry as well. definitely not worth the money to have your meal here.

Halal French/Western cuisine with affordable set meals during lunch. Good range of mains and sides to choose from. Service was relatively fast. Food comes hot. Interesting ambiance.

Let me tell you this. That this is one of the most underrated restaurant ever. From starter to main finish off with desserts. Everything was yummy. Manager Aqmal was super patience and friendly. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to my friends. Thumbs up 👍 POULET-WESTGATE

Service was excellent! Food was good but the oyster was very disappointing. May need to check whether the supplier of the oysters are giving poor oyster quality or if the restaurant have stored it too long. But all and all great professional and gentle service rendered by Mr Aqmal.

On 17/9 at about 1715hrs, my family went for our dinner at Poulet ,West Gate Branch. We were greeted by your friendly staff namely Fifi who was very friendly . He also recommended us the signature dishes that my wife order . Her review of the food was great ! We were also served by other staffs namely Akmal and Nurul too. Both were very friendly too!! Keep up the good service !!! I will recommend my friends to dine here .

This is my fourth time at this outlet. .Food are better now. The oxtail risotto was exceptional. Beautifully done for an Asian palate. Truffle mash potatoes is good and can be better. Clam crostini can be better if the umami smell lessen. The mango pudding is silky smooth. Service is attentive and not obstructive.

The Signature French roast chicken is a must if you are eating at Poulet ! There are three options for sauce 1. Mushroom cream sauce 2. Diane sauce 3. Cranberry sauce We tried the Mushroom cream sauce and it was simply delicious and the chicken was expertly cooked to perfection ! Would definitely go again just for the roast chicken ! Another must must try is the homemade Brazlian lemonade. This thing is out of the world! You will love it for sure . We also tried the Clam crostini which was not as expected . It was quite average dish. Overall good service good food !

Food was okay we ordered 2 pax set with top up $2 for drinks. They don't serve ice water. The dessert was good, not too sweet. Service was good too because we ordered starter (clam with bread) but the smell was not pleasant we requested to change starter and they did it for us.

Came here on a Sunday afternoon for late lunch. Food was well-cooked and tasted great. I would recommend their signature roast chicken with the cranberry sauce and Diane sauce. The truffle fries was good too. Overall, a good dining experience!

staff are all really friendly & attentive. food & beverage came relatively quick too. however, the clams could be washed more thoroughly as there is still sand in them. but good effort as the food is delicious!

Love the mushroom soup. One of the best. But your pasta with nuts... the nuts kept too long so the taste was stale (oil). The sauce nice though.

The food is absolutely disappointing. The seabass is dry, unseasoned and tasted sour? 0/10. The salad is sooo small 3 slices of lettuce, no dressing, like a tiny bowl for a whooping price of $12.90? 0/10. The half chicken and Truffle fries was so so - 4/10. The best dish overall would be the $7.90 mushroom soup 7/10, served with no garlic bread whatsoever - But that’s the tastiest dish out of all. Service given is great overall. However, overall for the expensive price point, big meh.

Always love poulet chicken related dishes especially the sauces they have. For example, the mushroom cream sauce is really rich and nice paired with the chicken. This time I went to the poulet at Westgate. Small outlet but very quiet and cozy. Service was very fast as well. Taste as always is good.

Their Risotto Mushroom and Mushrooms soup is my favourite as it’s creamy! Truffle mushroom is good but you would like to share it with some one else as it could be too much as it’s quite thick. However, the overall experience was great! 🥰👍🏻 service was fast and efficient.

My second time here with my colleagues, the price is abit steep but still satisfying. The service crews are very prompt and fast despite busy period. Worth the money spent.

Creamy THICK and VERY filling. Slightly disappointed I had my meat pretty much raw. Luckily, it wasn't raw enough to bleed during the experience. There was even a hidden nutty chocolate surprise! Overall, it was a good eat out.

Was a pleasant dining experience. Would recommend the truffle mash potato! Super soft and flavourful. Had the half chicken and mushroom soup too. Only downside is that the chicken was not warm.. Mango pudding for dessert, was pretty good too!

Have tried Poulet at different outlet before. Generally the price for their lunch 1 for 1 meal is really good. Honestly the food is also super solid. Especially the sides like meat balls, wings, fries. I love them actually. Also they aren't always super packed so stil can get tables normally with walk in.

The truffle fries are crisp and fragrant. Mushroom soup is flavourful and substantial in texture, unless those watery soups from other restaurants. The half chicken is tender, juicy and soft. prawn angel hair is not dry with sufficient olive oil to make it palatable with garlic and chili. The noise is generated by customers which is beyond their control. Hope there is something they can look into.

The service is so so, but the taste is fantastic!! I didn’t know here was French restaurant before l ate and looked into. Salty coordination is just right and elegant. I would like to come again!!
