The young girl taking my order had zero personality. I always approach service staff with good intent, a smile and a greeting of "how are you" or something similar, just to set the tone because I know customer service isn't a greatly appreciated vocation. I got nothing in return. I ordered 12pcs of chicken. It wasn't until after I had paid that I was told it would be a 15min wait because there wasn't enough chicken ready. At 2:30pm on a Saturday, didn't make sense. While I waited, I noticed the girl leaning against the counter and biting her nails, just before she packed my order. If it wasnt for tongs i wouldn't have accepted it. As for the food, it was decent but I found it quite salty.

My son and I were having a guys weekend out of town and decided to stop and grab takeout. From our perspective it took too long to get our food, and we didn't actually get the "spicy chicken" or the Cajun fries we ordered. My son loves spicy fried chicken, and he threw half of it out. Very disappointing.

Ordered ahead of time through the app, and it still took almost half an hour for them to finish 2 original chicken sandwich combos. Portions were smaller than usual and staff was inattentive, wasted my entire lunch break just waiting for my food.

Last time going here. Been going for years almost every time I'm in the area. Price has gone up almost every time I step foot in this place and quality has just sunk to an all-time low. Ordered 4pc chicken, onion rings and drink. 1st piece was all dried dark blood inside - this means mistreated abused chicken at the farm or during processing, low grade that should not end up in a 'premium' restaurant situation, more suitable for dog food. I tied another piece, it seemed ok, the 3rd was bloody as hell. Went right through me. Got my money back but thats little compensation. Popeys has been in the news not so long ago, and I guess not much has changed. Food prices are through the roof nowadays, and they need to step up their game in order to retain customers. Good luck to them.

Customer service was amazing by Edwin, The chicken sandwich here is unmatched—the piece of chicken was huge, perfectly juicy, and had that massive, loud crunch that doesn't get soggy on the way home. The spicy mayo and thick pickles are the perfect combo.
