I placed a takeout order and the cashier had a an annoyed attitude from the start. She became outright annoyed when I asked for my receipt. I asked for fried pickles for my daughter which was available on the website. She said that they didn't have them on the menu. I returned home 10 minutes later and was disappointed with the onion rings that were soggy and luke warm. I could only eat a 1/3 of of the onion rings because they were not appetizing at all. I microwaved them but the texture only worsened. They must have been sitting for awhile and barely reheated. The bun on my chicken sandwich was flattened and the sandwich was lukewarm. I only live 10 minutes away so I would think that the food would still be hot not lukewarm. I wanted to go to Mary Brown's instead and should've went with my first choice even if it is a further drive than Popeyes but I bet I would've been more satisfied. I will not go here the next time my daughter requests the mediocre food from here.

Dear Popeyes Customer Service and Management Team, I am writing to lodge a formal and serious complaint regarding the unacceptable treatment and systematic delays that delivery drivers experience at your Westbank branch in West Kelowna. As delivery drivers, our time is our livelihood. Every minute we waste waiting in a store directly cuts into our income and negatively impacts our ratings on delivery platforms due to high cancellation rates. Unfortunately, the staff at the Westbank branch consistently treat delivery drivers as third-class citizens. There is a clear, ongoing policy among the employees at this location that walk-in customers are significantly more important than delivery orders. Employees completely ignore delivery orders, allowing them to sit cold or unfulfilled while serving newly arrived customers first. This is not an isolated incident; it has happened to me and my fellow drivers more than 10 times. We are constantly forced to cancel orders from this specific branch because the wait times routinely exceed 30 minutes, which is completely unacceptable. Specific Incident Details: - Date: May 29, 2026 - Time: I arrived at the store at 5:00 PM and was forced to wait for over 20 minutes. - What Happened: While I was waiting fruitlessly for my delivery order, more than five new walk-in customers entered the store after me, placed their orders, received their food, and left. My order remained completely ignored and stalled. - Order/Platform Info (Optional): [Insert App Name and Order # here if available] This unprofessional behavior and unfair queuing system must change immediately. Orders should be processed in the chronological order they are received. A customer ordering through an app is just as important as a customer standing at the counter, and the delivery driver representing them deserves basic professional respect. Because of this toxic environment and the financial damage it causes us, many drivers in West Kelowna are now actively boycotting and rejecting orders from your Westbank branch. I urge the corporate management to investigate the leadership and training at this specific location. We demand that orders be prepared in the correct sequence and that delivery drivers be treated with the respect they deserve. I expect a prompt response regarding how your management team plans to address and rectify this ongoing issue at the Westbank location. Sincerely,

Avoid this place at all costs. They argued with us, telling us our combo doesn’t come with a drink when the picture clearly shows it. Told them this is false advertising and I am 1 star reviewing. They did not care. That drinks probably costs them 10c. They also didn’t give us the biscuit that it comes with. Will not come back!!!!

My wife and I stopped into the West Kelowna Popeye's for lunch today and had a very pleasant meal. We were greeted enthusiastically and cordially by Shobha who took our order and recommended the best value options to stretch our dollar. Our food was hot, tasty, and well presented. My wife ordered a chicken sandwich which was delicious and I ordered chicken tenders which were perfectly prepared by Prabh. Two enthusiastic thumbs up for today's visit (February 17th, 2026).
