Horrible service, service staff place the almond tart in a paper bag causing all the almonds to stick on the bag instead. She just chucked everything in the plastic bag, i had to take out everything and re arrange it myself. What kind of service is this? We are not getting free food. We paid for it. I would like to know the action taken.

The staff working at the counter was super rude. When i tried to ask for the price of the butter cakes, she replied is a pretty rude tone. Then when i asked whether i can use shopback pay, she again replied rudely and impatiently saying "you wait and ask the cashier". Then when i approached the cashier, she said i need to buy minimum $10 if i wanna use shopback pay. Then the other staff butt in and said can use shopback pay. The cashier dont even know how the payment methods work, how to be cashier? Overall a horrible experience, totally RUINED MY DAY with their RUDE AND LOUSY AND HORRIBLE SERVICE!!! If you want butter cake, go to Moji Bakery right opposite, its cheaper and decent. Don't buy from polar, not worth it to pay more only to have your day ruined by their APPALLING SERVICE!!!!!

They have wide variety of character cakes which my children loves. They offer CNY goodies and treats that are not too sweet so it's okay. The butter cake rolls are really good.

Horrible. Today I went there and bought a large pandan swiss roll for my family. When I reached home, I discovered the cake was only two days away from expiring, making it very unfresh as most cake stores like Bengawan Solo and even other Polar outlets normally have seven days before expiring. Terrible, would recommend going to literally anywhere else.

Bought a cake last saturday & wanted to make use of my membership. was told off curtly by the staff that "cannot use" due to the cake being a seasonal (special) item. It is ok that i can't make use of my membership but as service staff... was there a need to be so unpleasant to a customer? Perhaps Polar can consider investing in some courses for the staff as I have experienced worse one at NEX! (another review!)

Visited today 4 May 2023 at 10.41am. Forgot to tell the Auntie i wanted individual paper bags but she was very pleasant & patient about it. Even when it’s not her fault, she also apologised ( about my change ) which i told her it’s ok and there’s no need to say sorry. I didn’t get her name. Will go again this weekend and update here.

Big shout out to Aunty Mui Leng!! I’m at compass one branch to get the March promo Chocolate Mint cake. But unfortunately is sold out and Aunty Mui Leng with her super fast reaction she made a cal to nearest branch which waterway to check on the availability, and once got the stock she immediately go rush to collect. It was so embarrassing for me to make her travel there but she insist to collect immediately and ask me to seat at the nearest and wait for her to come back. Thank you Aunty Mui Leng.

Visited Compass one branch on 4 Sept. Very unpleasant experience with counter staff by the name Sharon. In short, unable to produce my Trust app eCard on time to show her for a 10% discount was treated rudely even there was either no one or just one person beside me for payment. With prompting, I let the other person pay first. I was shocked when I stepped out of the shop after payment to hear loud n clear in a rude tone saying..blur blur, everything also don't know in Cantonese!!!!!! Immediately, I search the e card in app to go back to show her n told her that everyone is learning n such remarks was unnecessary. N if want to criticise customer do it after they r gone for a while.

Im Appal by the attitude of the staff this evening. I think the staffs need to be train to serve customer better. Didn't get the name of the staff but her attitude and reply is like we owe her money. Saw few reviews about same staff so guess should be her . I guess if no customer your staffs will be most happy cos super free and relax and taking salary.
