Hi, I would like to raise a concern about the chili that was served to us. We understand that the chili naturally has a sour taste. However, the chili we received had a much stronger sour smell and taste than usual, which both my wife and I noticed. It made us concerned that the chili might not have been fresh. When we first raised the issue, the first staff member said that the chili was not spoiled without tasting it. Later, another staff member came into the store, so I raised the same concern with her. She tasted chili from another bowl and said that it tasted normal. However, the chili she tasted was not from our bowl. Therefore, we still felt that our concern had not been properly checked. We are not complaining simply because the chili was sour. We understand that sourness is part of its normal taste. Our concern was that the chili we received had an unusually strong sour smell and taste, which both of us noticed. We cannot confirm whether it was spoiled, but we hope the restaurant can take our feedback seriously and check the chili properly, as food quality and safety are important to us. Thank you.

So crowded at lunchtime. Came after 230 and had Vip feel. Food was good. Chicken tender and nice Chilli was ok but would be more shiok if more spicy. Overall nice

The food is great. I ordered the indomie, tastes just like original ones cooked from instant pack. The fried chicken is absolutely delicious. The chilli is nice, has spice but not too spicy at all. The tempeh was also really good. Prices are fair. I recommend the palapa fried chicken, indomie and tempeh.

We had such a wonderful experience at Palapa Indonesian Fast Food. We ordered the Festive Feast, and it truly lived up to its name—every single item on the platter was bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. From the crispy, well-seasoned Palapa fried chicken to the rich, aromatic noodles and the variety of perfectly fried sides. The lime rice was fragrant and tasty. They even managed to make an ordinary Indomie taste yummy! The bakwan was delicious though a tad too oily. What stood out just as much as the food was the attention to detail and care for customers. They separated the sambal belado on the side without us even needing to ask, which was incredibly considerate since we were dining with a child. That small gesture made a big difference and showed how attentive and customer-focused they are. And the sambal belado? It was simply delicious! My husband vouched that was the best sambal belado he has ever tasted. Even my sambal belado lost to this. 😂 Overall, it was a memorable meal that combined amazing food with thoughtful service. We’ll definitely be coming back—my husband already said he will be coming back at least once a month! 😆

lime rice was fragrant, indomee was well cooked and had a good bite, but a tad too salty. both the fried and grilled chicken were well marinated and juicy. chilli that came with was fragrant, not the spiciest. like some of the others had mentioned, their fried tempeh and vegetable fritter was oily and on the soggy side of things. worth a try if you're into strong flavours.
