Great bakmie! A lot more self-service as compared to the Orchard branch, but I have no issues about it. Cleanliness can be improved. Might get busy during lunch hours.

Tried their bakmie ayam since it was recommended in the comments. The noodles were well-flavoured and gave a good chew. Very good value for the price especially in town. Friendly service. Would visit if I’m around the area again!

Tried their famous chicken noodle bowl for the first time and was thoroughly impressed by the taste. The price is also pretty affordable for food at town area. Service was pretty quick and there are some seats in the restaurant for dine in. Not too crowded during lunch hours. Will try other things in the menu.

The chicken noodle was really delicious — full of flavour and perfectly cooked. The service was excellent as well; the staff were friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience enjoyable. Highly recommended!

I recently ventured to JTown, a spot known for authentic Indonesian fare, and decided to take on their ultimate heat challenge: the Bakmie Ayam Balado JTown. This dish is marketed as their spiciest offering, and while it certainly delivered a definite, enjoyable bite, I found the heat level to be more manageable than I expected, thankfully not overpowering the rest of the flavors. The presentation was impressive, arriving with a generous topping of vibrant balado. Regarding the components, the noodles themselves were notably on the softer side, and the ayam was perfectly adequate, although not particularly memorable. A minor drawback was the accompanying clear broth, which was unfortunately a bit mid and didn't really add much to the meal. Service-wise, the experience was great; everything was efficient, and the food was served up pretty fast. I concluded the experience perfectly with a classic, refreshing Teh Botol, which was the ideal sweet counterpoint to the spice.
