I experienced some poor quality service and operational standards. Initially, I received the wrong order. I got regular noodles instead of the requested wide flat ones (not a big deal). I asked, the waitress understood and a new one was being made. So far so good. Instead of simply replacing the noodles, the staff threw the entire bowl of food into a bus tub. This level of food waste is just unnecessary, avoidable and deeply disappointing. When the corrected order arrived, the server carelessly spilled hot soup across the table, onto my bag, and directly on my phone. Immediately it began malfunctioning. The touchscreen stopped registering thermal inputs, the network connections failed, and the battery plummeted from 70% to 0% in seconds due to the liquid and heat exposure. I was forced to wait in the restaurant to charge the damaged phone just enough to send an e-transfer to pay for the meal. The blatant food waste and the negligence resulting in direct damage to my personal property is horrible. Management needs to seriously address their service protocols. I had my phone evaluated and can confirm there is permanent internal damage caused by the hot liquid. It can be fully charged, last about 4 hours, once 70% hits, wiithin seconds of use the battery plummets directly to zero percent. YOUR STAFF DESTROYED MY PERSONAL PROPERTY (I understand it was not on purpose. An apology was given but that doesn't remove the fact that my phone is now permanently damaged and I need to buy a new one) The meal was $23.71 + $1099 (retail value that I'm now paying on a new monthly tab). Forced to purchase a replacement phone.. for a mediocre meal.

Great variety beyond just the soup. The lamb skewers are perfectly seasoned and a must-try side dish. Their beef chow mein is also excellent if you aren't in the mood for soup. It can get busy during the lunch rush, but they handle the crowds well. One of the best food options in the York University area for sure.

I'm going to be honest, I love this place so much and I will come a long way to get it. However, today's visit had me very very upset. I found a small sliver of steel wool in my soup and I didn't realize it until I ate the left overs when I got home and spit out the little end bit of the soup in my hand. God knows if I ate more bits of steel wool but I only realised it after so I'll be headed to the doctor to get that checked. Photo attached of the steel wool. This is why I'm giving this location a one star. I've eaten here multiple times and enjoyed it every time over the years. I've raved about this place as an attractive spot for Muslims to dine and especially for students at York who want something delicious and halal.

I tried the veggie chow mein at Omni Noodles, and it was good and satisfying. The noodles were well cooked, flavorful, and had a nice balance of vegetables and seasoning. Overall, a decent spot for a quick and tasty noodle dish.
