The rice is fragrant, with coconut, ikan bilis is very crispy. Sambal was a little oily for my liking, but they separated it in a plastic container, which was great! Would definitely come again!

Dickson Nasi Lemak is a decent and reasonably priced option for a quick meal, though there is room for improvement in freshness and preparation. Compared with some similar nasi lemak spots, the rice seemed slightly mushy and did not have the fragrant, fluffy texture I was hoping for. The fried chicken batter could also have been crisper and tasted as though it may not have been freshly fried. The rendang chicken was served in what appeared to be a microwaveable container and had a somewhat reheated taste rather than the freshness of a dish prepared to order. Given its affordable pricing, it remains an acceptable choice for a convenient meal. With fresher preparation and more attention to texture, the overall experience could be stronger. Overall, I would rate it around 3 stars.

Passed by this place many times but didn’t have the time to sample what they have to offer. Finally had the chance to try the drumstick nasi lemak today. It is yummy 👍 The only complaint is the metal spoon. It is a bit soft and can bend out of shape when trying to pull the chicken flesh apart. May want to consider changing to stronger spoons so your diners get a better dining experience.

Ordered the chicken rendang, which came with a sunny side up egg, ikan bilis, peanuts, coconut rice, and peeled cucumber, which was a nice touch. The chicken rendang itself was flavourful, though just a little too spicy. The rice was lightly infused with coconut, but it could have been more fragrant. Also ordered a hot honey lemon, which was a little too sweet. But overall, still a decent lunch meal.
