I am writing to express my repeated frustration regarding takeaway orders from the stall at Admiralty Place. It has become a consistent problem that essential items—specifically the sambal, peanuts, and begedel—are routinely omitted from our takeaway packs. This is particularly disappointing given that we are already subjected to an additional surcharge for takeaway packaging. Paying a premium for the convenience of a takeaway, only to receive an incomplete meal, is simply unacceptable. I urge management to implement a mandatory double-checking procedure before sealing orders to ensure that all paid-for components are included. This ongoing lapse in service needs immediate attention.

I wanted to buy a packet of nasi lemak for my daughter who is craving for nasi lemak at Nasi Lemak Ayam Talingwang at Cantine Admiralty Place on 28 Feb around 12:50pm. Woodlands residents were given a Belanja-a-meal card to purchase at participating stalls. One of the staff told me to scan the QR on the POS system. I tried twice but it was unsuccessful. She asked her colleague for assistance. Her colleague said out in quite a loud voice that since I am using the Bam card, I should not scanned on the POS instead it should be scanned on her hp. I told that it was my first time using Bam card and her colleague was the one who asked me to scan on the POS system. When I showed her the QR code to be scanned on her hp, the makcik was rude. She said the scanning system in her hp was down and she was busy. Since she refused to take my order, I went to another stall to buy my food. Please advise your staff to be respectful when serving customers regardless of their paying mode.

Got the balado rice, the taste was delicious. The rice has the coconut milk scent, chicken doused in the sweet spicy sambal and is tender. Comes with anchovies and peanuts, including 2 cucumbers. Didnt take long for the food to be prepared. very satisfied with the food :)

The guy at the counter taking order & packing seems to have some attitude issue. Ordered 4 packs with 1 adding bagedil, he charged x5 takeaway (my bagedil is not packed separately). It’s fine with that $0.30 extra then. Upon receiving my order, I asked for utensil as there’s only 2 sets left. The guy at the counter don’t even bother to take a look before replying “there it’s here”. Ya, with 2 sets of utensil for 4 pack? Asking him for another 2 more sets, he don’t even bother taking out or find for it. He just replied “there, don’t have means no more.” If you’re too reclutant to work on the last day of 2025 then don’t. Don’t work and show attitude to spoil other’s mood on the last day of the year.

The nasi lemak chicken was really nice, and the chilli was tasty with a good level of spiciness. The begedel was soft and flavourful, a great match with the nasi lemak. The kakak was very friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. Would definitely come back again.
