Must-visit spot for Min Jiang Kueh lovers! If you love traditional min jiang kueh as much as I do, Munchi Pancakes takes the humble traditional snack to a whole new level! What sets them apart is the incredible variety and customization they offer.

Tried the Mao Shan Wang durian pancake and the pistachio kunafa pancake from this Munchi Pancakes outlet. The chilled durian filling was creamy, delicious, and packed with a rich durian flavour. The pistachio kunafa pancake, however, fared much worse. While I could taste the kataifi, the pistachio filling lacked both the nutty aroma and flavour I was hoping for. I wouldn’t recommend it and would rather stick to the classics, such as the peanut pancake, over the pistachio kunafa version.

Honestly, I had no clue Munchi was hiding out in a hawker centre. The service is actually decent—they’re quick and don't mess around. Pro tip: get them to warm up the pancakes. It makes a world of difference in the flavor. I’m definitely hoping they pop up in more spots soon so I don't have to trek as far.

Tried the matcha pancake for $2.40, is pretty nice , not too sweet. They even use measuring scale to measure the amount of filling scooped to ensure standardisation.
