Absolutely loved the Nasi Lemak at Marrybrown Burwood! 🍗🍚 The fragrant coconut rice paired perfectly with the crispy, flavourful fried chicken. The portion was generous, everything tasted fresh, and the combination of flavours was really satisfying. Definitely a great spot for a quick and delicious Malaysian-style meal. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

ordered two chickens from this restaurant. I understand that chicken can sometimes be slightly pink near the bone, and I told the staff that a little pink colour would not bother me. However, parts of the chicken looked and felt undercooked inside, which made me uncomfortable continuing to eat it. I showed the chicken to the staff and explained my concern, but I was told that it was “normal”. After raising the issue, I was only given one replacement chicken even though my concern involved the two chickens in my order. I did not receive a refund. I was disappointed with how my food safety concern was handled. I hope the restaurant takes customer concerns about potentially undercooked chicken more seriously in the future.

I recently visited Marrybrown and honestly wasn’t very impressed. Although it’s a fast-food restaurant, we had to wait around 25+ minutes for our food, which felt way too long. It was obvious they were understaffed. Tables weren’t being cleared, and the whole place felt very dirty and poorly maintained. The fried chicken drumstick was probably the highlight — crispy on the outside and juicy inside, really quite good. The drinks were also a stand out item for me. I ordered the passion splash and it was refreshing, tasty and delicious. Unfortunately, the rest of the food was disappointing. The chicken burger was bland, not crispy, and the chicken itself wasn’t tender or juicy. The onion rings weren’t crispy either and honestly it tasted like I wasn't eating anything! The chips were tasteless. We also ordered one of the rice meals. The flavour was okay, but the actual dish looked nothing like the menu photo — maybe only 20% similar, which was quite misleading. Overall, I wouldn’t come back. Honestly, I’m not surprised the Knox branch has already closed.

Worst place ever. I could have gave 0 stars if could. The chips in the kiddy meal were cold and hamburger meat was cold likebit was cooked 5 hours ago and the meat was so hard. We also had the cheesy wedges and as you can see they are horrible. On first sight you would've thought the wedges were too over fried but when you cut inside they are bad and moldy. We should have called the food safety. There already is a food safety certificate and it was four out of five. I am warning you now never go here! If someone thought the wedge was over fried and ate it without looking inside they would have had a stomachache and diarohea or they might have went to hospital. We also waited for almost 20minutes when it was such a simple order and in front of was was only 1 person not 5 people

Spicy chicken tonight midnight (11:30pm) is magnificent - not oily, crunchy, spicy and meaty 👍 (yes it has the bite mark, to show I come back to review food after I have tried, and finished a piece (out of two) chicken. $18.9 MB specials with drinks
