Basic Nasi Lemak (ikan bilis, cucumber, and egg) is $2! When I saw the Ayam Berempah, it looked overcooked (dark brown and crispy) yeah perhaps it was the rempah you know, but I skipped that and went with the sambal paru (beef lungs) and begedil (potato cutlets), all these at $6.50! The Nasi Lemak basmati is very light and fluffy, so to those who love their Nasi lemak very coconuty and fragrant, this one you gotta skip it! But if you love spicy Nasi lemak sambal, this one’s for you. I mean you can feel the warmth in your stomach.

Nasi Lemak Berlauk Melaka is a fantastic find! The ayam goreng berempah is absolutely delicious — crispy on the outside, juicy and flavourful on the inside, with just the right balance of spices that makes every bite satisfying. The rice is fragrant and fluffy, paired nicely with the sambal and sides Best of all, at $5 it’s incredible value for money. Generous portion, great taste, and affordable — hard to beat for a quick and satisfying meal

The food on the display looks nice so I order the nasi lemak with fried chicken rempah. Everything tasted ok. But the food was COLD & it is only 8 o'clock in the morning! Feels like the food was leftovers from last night.

I visited the shop last night around 7:26 p.m., just a few minutes before their stated closing time of 7:30 p.m. Despite seeing a variety of dishes still displayed at the counter, I was told the shop was closed. When I pointed out that it wasn’t 7:30 yet, the staff then said there was no more rice. I responded that I didn’t need rice and would just like to buy the dish. He then asked if I could pay the exact amount, to which I said I would PayNow. What made the experience uncomfortable was his overall attitude—he seemed visibly annoyed, was unwelcoming, and responded with sarcasm even when I was polite. I asked for chicken and sambal, but he packed them together. When I clarified, he sarcastically asked if I wanted it separated, and only then did he repack with a smirk. The food was $6.50 and I paid as requested, but the service and tone left a lot to be desired. I understand it was near closing time, but a little kindness and professionalism would have gone a long way.
