Went there several times. Always out of food at 6pm. Not sure what's happening there. But I had a chance to tried it today and it taste pretty good! Would love to buy more if they are willing to sell.

1 star for service. I was clearly second in line, but another lady walked in and was served ahead of me. The staff completely ignored my presence, which was quite disappointing.

Bought 1 pack each of Blue Ginger caramel Walnut & Salted Lemongrass Walnut as gifts. Came home & realised that the Blue ginger walnut packet had already been opened & half eaten!! If there was no stars I would give that!

Got in an unpleasant situation at 5.58pm at ION outlet. Male staff in black specs blatantly ignored and refused to take my order while proceeding to receive orders from newer customers who just arrived. Joined the queue from both left and right side in attempt to order and even asked him if I can order at one point. He didn't look at me and muttered something under his breath which was extremely rude, and still did not take my order. Asked for his name which he refused to give. PSA to all - do not patronise unless you wish to be disrespected. To the company - please ensure proper and sufficient staff training on quality customer service before allowing them to start work. Please conduct a thorough investigation and follow-up with the necessary consequences.

🟢 Lee Wee & Brothers 2 Orchard Turn, # B4-72 ION Orchard ( kiosk) Singapore 238801 🟦 To me, this is the best Otak-Otak in Singapore.● My hubby and I have been buying the spicy Lee Wee Mackeral Fish Otak-Otak countless times over the long years ever since they opened their first shop. ⬛️ We usually buy them from Ion Mall as we live in Toa Payoh town.🟨 It is quicker/ nearer for us to go to Ion mall by the train. 🟪 We usually takeaway aka dapao 12 to 20 pieces of the large Banana Leaf otak-otak ( ➖️ to eat with rice during dinner time.) 🟠 Today, as usual, I ordered 12 sticks of the Banana Leaf Mackeral Fish Otak-Otak priced at SGD1.90 per stick (🟩 it is a bigger leaf wrap). ✳️ Had to wait for 15 to 20 mins for the otak-otak to be freshly grilled. 🟥 Otak-otak in Malay really means "brains". 🟥This spicy fish cake is named as "Otak otak" --- because when cooked or grilled, the otak meat and texture resembles mushy fish brains, thus, the name, Otak-Otak. 🟦 As I was raised in a Peranakan Cina household, I was taught how to pronounce Malay words correctly. 🟦Bahasa Melayu was also my 3rd language in school. ➡️ The "otah-otah" name that we see now is a mangled term used by the local Chinese.
