The tartar sauce and garlic Karages where excellent, wonderful flavor and good crispy batter. I would say the same for the kimchi Karage but unfortunately I could barely taste any kimchi flavor from it. Highly recommend the garlic Karage. The fried chicken ramen was really good. Not too spicy and the chicken batter remained crunchy and crispy even when soaked in the soup for awhile. The noodle portion was also very generous. The lobster ramen had an excellent soup base however I felt that adding the miso in made it a little too strong and overpowered the seafood flavor. Overall the meal was enjoyable up until the point where I saw a baby cockroach running around on the floor. That unfortunately ruined the rest of my experience else I would have rated it higher.

Tried the beef ramen, chicken ramen and gyoza. Overall the taste is pretty average. The gyoza isn't even crispy and had a strange aftertaste. Broth isn't great (despite the chicken ramen being their signature dish), when it should be the highlight. I would give this a miss, many better options out there if you are craving ramen!

REPEAT CUSTOMER! Super yummy ramen, it’s the best ramen store I’ve tried in SG. (comparing to Ajisen/ Marutama/ musashi/ takagi/ menya musashi) Idk why it’s 3.9 stars. Service staffs are all nice! Ambience is great. Food is delicioussss 🤤 I kind of slightly regret trying this ramen place because now I’m so broke and all I think of eating is ICHIKOKUDO HOKKAIDO RAMEN! I have had so many bowls of ramen here and not 1 failed me. The noodles are unlike ajisen’s which I LOVE! It’s not the gelatinous kind but a chewy texture like wanton noodles instead of Konjac noodles. Plus it comes with so many side ingredients like the bamboo shoots and corns and cabbage. Ok for the soup base I love it because it’s the right amount of savoury and it’s a tiny weeny sweet just like your jjajangmyeon or bulgolgi. And I the soup base it’s just very balanced because of the tinge of sweetness. So that’s just how ichikokudo is just right for my tastebuds! It’s like a festival of flavours, textures and of course you can’t miss out the marinated egg! YUMMMM Please consider introducing a membership programme! 😫😫😫 I’ve only visited the Hillion store! The staff are all very nice! You guys made me severely addicted to ramen, something I didn’t really fancy eating. Also for someone who likes sugary drinks, and finds drinks with no sugar depressing. The iced green tea was so nice and it’s refillable (PLEASE KEEP IT REFILLABLE) maybe I’m biased because I can taste abit of the matcha. Can give me voucher please? I am so broke 😭 Anyways I LOVEE IT BEST RAMEN EVER !!!

1st time here... Tried the Triple-Cheese Chicken Teppan Cha-Han set(soup+ pickles) Tasted kinda bland for my Indian tongue😝,sorry. Added pepper & it was better. Had the Ichikokudo's Grilled Chicken Gyoza. I had it elsewhere & it had a savory taste. This however wasn't. The foods were pleasing to my nephew thou. The milk ice milo Tasted similarly to that of chocolate milk from supermarket. Staffs were friendly. Deco pleasant.

We ordered a total of 6 dishes but the bill came out showing a total of 7 we were shocked and moreover a friend of mine had to wait for his longer than expected. even customers later than us had their meal first. Overall i think they can improve and their food was very comforting. kudos to the chef.

Small Japanese cafe on the ground floor of the Hillion Mall. We tried the Teppan Beef Cha Han and the Beef Yakiniku Rice. The former is served on a hot plate, with raw egg poured into the plate to cook. It was delicious; every mouthful was bursting with flavour. The Beef Yakiniku was good too, very tasty. We also ordered a Chicken Karaage side dish. It was a small portion, only 3 pieces, but it was well done and yummy. There are several branches in Sg, so if you're near one, it's worth checking out.

Not really a connoisseur, but the food felt undercooked. For example, the gyoza didn't have the crispy / crunchy texture expected. Food came somewhat at the wrong order (main came before the appetisers) but that was alright. What was annoying was that they completely forgot the order for my ice cream. When I decided to make payment and informed them I couldn't wait any longer and had to cancel the ice cream order, they were pretty nonchalant about it and didn't even offer an apology. They didn't charge me though, so no real loss other than 30 mins of my time waiting. Overall, I think there are better options around.

It is the most terrible place I have ever eaten and experienced. If I can give 0 star, I will do that. This is the first time and also the last time. Don’t waste your money and don’t let it ruin your mood. The food is salty, not nice. The noodles are sticky, too much flour and not chewy. The worst part is the service . It is super rude, especially one lady staff is especially rude. She put down the bowl as if throw it to us with super loud voice. She did that with all our 7 bowls so it is not accidentally at all, even dropped one spoon and w/o replacement new one. We asked for kids bowls and utensils, even shouted at us and said don’t have. If she doesn’t want to work and unhappy to serve customers, the branch manager should just fire her.!! Take note, when we visited, it is not crowded so there is no excuse of too busy. It is only ard 8pm plus ơn public holiday. In short, this branch should be closed if there is no change in standard and service.

Visited at 7:30pm on a Sat. Restaurant had many seats but severely understaffed for those in queue to take a seat - everyone queuing outside stood for very long before being attended to. Despite at least 3 staff in the kitchen, food was served very slowly, and the side dishes were not warm. Ramen was alright. One hardworking Malay male server had to wait on all tables, handle cashier, make drinks, deal with not so kind customers and take orders all by himself. Kudos to him and I hope management reward his hardwork.

The place is far too bright with spotlights on diners. Very uncomfortable. The service staff was very efficient and hard-working. Ramen soup was too salty.

Ate dinner with family members. My first and last visit to this restaurant, dessert was served first! My appetite was spoilt, bimbimbab was not served in hot stone bowl like Korean restaurant, difficult to order by scanning the qr code.

Food takes an EXTREMELY long time to be served! Almost an hour for a fried rice is just ridiculous. Quality of food has dropped tremendously since their opening. That said, the male service staff provided some excellent service and tried to appease all the frustrated customers despite it not being his fault. Props to him!

We arrived at 7pm, ordered food, but waited for an hour with missing orders, leaving us starving by the time the food arrived (8.15pm). The staff's attitude was rude when we asked for an explanation for that. Moving on, she spoke softly when introducing the food and her tone turned rude when we clarified with her again. We had a very unpleasant experience there! Food wasn't that great as well.

Visited Ichikokudo Ramen @ Hillion Mall. Ordered two bowls of Ramen and had to wait for more than 45 minutes. The restaurant is at capacity but they had 3 persons in the kitchen and a poor girl attending the customer and manning the counter. Hence, they were not necessarily under staff. Nonetheless, she clearly lack of training and appeared to be cluelessly demotivating all the time. Service was poor at best. Pricing is reasonable. Food quality has registered a mixed after taste. The ramen brooth is acceptable but the noodle is a disastrous. Not only it has no texture, but also soggy and sticky - sufficiently capable to make any Chef in Hokkaido throwing his pan out of the window. Certainly won't be coming back. The management may need to review the situation as it's a pitty of having a Halal Ramen stall seemingly inevitably heading to a cliff.
